Here are some of the top individual performances from last week:

Top five

*Aquinas RB Brendan Douglas scored six touchdowns, five rushing, and ran for 245 yards on 13 carries in a 50-8 victory over Twiggs County.

*Cedartown RB Nick Chubb rushed for 366 yards on 36 carries and scored seven touchdowns in a ran the ball 36 times in a 47-27 victory over Southeast Whitfield.

*Gainesville QB Deshaun Watson was 17-of-24 passing for 277 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries in a 42-14 victory over Heritage of Conyers in a game between ranked teams in Class AAAAA.

*Parkview RB Chris Carson rushed for 255 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries in a 21-14 victory over Brookwood.

*Sequoyah RB Blake Ingleton scored six touchdowns and rushed for 269 yards on 29 carries in a 41-34 victory over Sprayberry.

Best of the rest

*Adairsville PK Dakota Hines kicked a 38-yard field goal with 14.4 seconds left in a 40-38 victory over Ringgold. He also made a 39-yard field goal and had touchbacks on six of eight kickoffs.

*Americus-Sumter RB Wesley Fields rushed for 261 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries in a 40-14 victory over Worth County.

*Athens Academy WR/DB Eric Williams scored on a pass reception and punt return and intercepted a pass in a 21-6 victory over Lakeview Academy.

*Brooks County QB Malcolm Parrish passed for 213 yards, threw four TD passes, scored a touchdown and intercepted a pass in a 42-8 victory over Early County in a game between ranked teams in Class AA.

*Carrollton DE Villery Hayes had 2.5 tackles for 18.5 yards in losses in a 66-0 victory over Columbus, which had minus-20 yards in total offense.

*Cass QB Brandon Etheridge was 15-of-18 passing for 189 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries in a 35-7 victory over Dalton.

*Cedar Grove QB Johnathon McCrary threw five TD passes and was 20-of-25 passing for 365 yards in a 42-21 victory over Decatur.

*Cherokee WR Armony Parker caught 10 passes for 150 yards in a 21-7 loss to Walton.

*Clarkston PK Santino Jerke made a 52-yard field goal in a 16-14 victory over Hapeville Charter. The field goal was the longest for a DeKalb Schools kicker since 1996.

*Gordon Lee RB/DB Zack Cobb rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown, returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and intercepted a pass in a 19-14 victory over Whitefield Academy.

*Grovetown RB Juwan Biggers rushed for 253 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 27-23 victory over Houston County. Biggers had scoring runs of 76, 88 and 55 yards and returned a kickoff 94 yards for a TD. He was 2-of-4 passing for 18 yards.

*Hart County QB Dakota Mitchell was 11-of-16 passing for 178 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown on nine carries in a 45-19 victory over Franklin County.

*Jackson DL Jay Woods had 10 tackles, 1.5 sacks and forced a fumble in a 30-0 victory over Southwest.

*Jenkins QB Paris Baker rushed for 209 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries in a 28-20 victory over Groves.

*Jenkins County RB/LB Donnie Gay rushed for 129 yards on three carries, all touchdowns, and made seven tackles and an interception, returned for a touchdown, in a 60-0 victory over Montgomery County.

*Liberty County TE/LB Jeremy Caldwell-Fabregas had four catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns and made nine tackles and an interception in a 41-19 victory over Hephzibah.

*Lincoln County RB Mike McIntyre scored four TDs and rushed for 216 yards on 21 carries in a 49-27 victory over First Presbyterian.

*Luella RB Trae Bonner rushed for 199 yards and two touchdowns and intercepted a pass in a 24-21 overtime loss to Alcovy.

*Lumpkin County WR/DB Jonathan Gilreath had 10 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown on offense and nine tackles on defense in a 13-12 victory over Walnut Grove.

*Milton RB Treyvon Paul rushed for 177 yards and a touchdown in a 34-13 victory over Wheeler.

*North Cobb Christian QB/DB Kendall Crute rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on three carries, threw a 21-yard TD pass and returned an interception 103 yards for a touchdown in a 47-7 victory over Cross Keys.

*North Paulding QB Chase Noonan was 16-of-19 passing for 309 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 137 yards on nine carries in a 43-7 victory over Woodland of Cartersville.

*Oglethorpe County QB Kendrick Presley scored three touchdowns for the fourth consecutive game in a 31-12 victory over Riverside Military Academy. Presley rushed for 115 yards. He has 12 touchdowns in Oglethorpe’s 3-1 start.

*Our Lady of Mercy CB Rashard Fant scored his team’s first touchdown on an 80-yard kickoff return and the last touchdown on a 70-yard reception in a 33-21 victory over Pace Academy.

*Pinecrest Academy QB Jimmy Strom directed the triple option and rushed for 148 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries in a 35-0 victory over Hebron Christian. Strom has rushed for 100 or more yards in three straight games.

*Prince Avenue Christian RB Carl Maddox rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries in a 40-0 victory over Athens Christian.

*Richmond Hill QB Dominique Allen rushed for 127 yards on 27 carries, scored a touchdown and threw the game-winning TD pass to Nick Fitzgerald with 11 seconds left in a 20-17 victory over Glynn Academy.

*Savannah Christian RB Jalen Myrick rushed for 86 yards on six carries and had six catches for 114 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 42-14 victory over previously unbeaten Johnson County.

*Shaw WR Steven Jeffrey caught 12 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown in a 31-14 loss to LaGrange.

*South Effingham RB Josh Mercer rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns in a 50-26 victory over Glenn Hills.

*Stockbridge QB Trenton Earl rushed for 114 yards and passed for 155, completing six of eight attempts, in a 17-14 victory over then-No. 2 Griffin of Class AAAA.

*Union Grove RB Derrick Craine rushed for 192 yards on 32 carries in a 23-0 victory over Northgate.

*Vidalia LB Nic McBride had 13 solo tackles and three interceptions in a 28-7 victory over Metter. McBride, a GHSF Daily preseason all-state pick, had not played since the opening game Aug. 31 because of complications from dehydration. He has 26 tackles in two games.

*Washington-Wilkes LB Tomarkus Young had nine tackles and two sacks for a defense that allowed only 32 yards of total offense to a previously unbeaten team in a 36-0 victory over Union County.

*Wayne County LB Taylor Heflin had 16 tackles, five tackles for losses and a pass breakup in a 42-18 victory over Richmond Academy.

*Wilcox County QB Makail Grace passed for 244 yards and ran for 143 in a 32-26 loss to Charlton County.

Slade Dale from Ringgold rushed for 100 and passed for 270 versus Adairsville last Friday…Slade might be a 2,000 yard passer and 1,000 yard rusher as a junior…

Travis Custis had 158 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 10 carries to go along with Alejandro Benefields 5 of 7 for 118 yards and 4 Tds in the victory over Druid Hills.

Brooks County QB Malcolm Parrish is the best player in the state hands down .if u dnt believe me come to these brooks county game

sportsnut youre off on his numbers just a bit. Custis had 220 yards rushing and 2 td’s on 11 rushes.
