I hope IF Brooks County makes it to the playoffs this year they bring a better team to Calhoun than they did last year. Brooks County got blown out last year. It just a better brand of football in north Georgia. Thats why Buford and Calhoun played in the state finals for the past 4 years.

“Thats why Buford and Calhoun played in the state finals for the past 4 years.”
Really? Do you really believe that? Could it possibly be that both Buford and Calhoun are in much higher populated areas and both are open enrollment schools? And the fact they are playing against teams in South Georgia that rely on total populations of less than 20,000. They can cherry pick from a much larger talent pool. Funny how are other public schools in Gwinnett County are 5A or 6A. Also ironic that the other high schools in Gordon County stink annually in Football.
A good comparison is that Divison 1 (FBS) college football puts out a better “brand” than division II college football. More resources and a much larger talent pool to choose (recruit) from. If you cannot comprehend that, you are an imbecile. Usually the comprehension is easy, the acknowledgment and acceptance as truth is usually the hang up for you folks!

Chris sounds like you making excuses which happens when you are a loser. I bet you blame the refs every time your team loses. Just man up and admit you are not as good.

I hear you Chris. Yea, yea, yea, Calhoun and Buford cheat. If that’s true, why did Calhoun absolutely suck until Coach Hal Lamb arrived. Couldn’t possibly be that this guy is a much superior coach, could it? Much like when Wright Bazemore coached Valdosta. Naw, it couldn’t be anything like that. Naw, Calhoun just cheats.

i laugh at the entertainment you all post about BCHS Trojans that is. To clarify some things. Brooks will take Region 1 with no hiccups. As for the northern schools, I agree with Chris. We will play one game at a time until we meet Calhoun again. As for Thomasville, Cook and Fitzgerald, look at their records and who they have played. IJS
