Monqavious Johnson threw two touchdown passes to D.J. Polite and one to Romello Shumake as M.L. King beat North Atlanta 46-0 on Saturday at Lakewood Stadium.
M.L. King (4-0 overall, 3-0 in Region 6-AAAAA) didn’t allow North Atlanta (0-4, 0-3) past midfield and allowed less than 100 yards in total offense.
M.L. King led 40-0 at halftime.

He did have three TD passes – 2 to one, 1 to another. …
Report that we got was two TD’s to Polite, who I believe is #10.

I would like to give codos to both coaching staffs. N. Atlanta players for not QUITTING! Also MLK players for not taking them lightly and playing with class. Keep your head up N. Atlanta players I know that you will receive mean cruel words. You guys are winners in my book!!!

MLK’s qb has gotten better with each game. You can really his maturity level and confidence growing. They aren’t as explosive as they have been the past two years, but they are more efficient in the passing game and can run the ball better.

Football has never worked at North Atlanta and never will. One season over .500 (6-4) in its twenty year existence. The resources used for NA Football should be used elsewhere.
