Habersham Central is off to a rough start in its move to the highest classification. The Raiders are 0-3 and have been shut out twice. Before this season, Habersham had been shut out only three times since 2000. Here are the schools that still have been shut out three times or less since 2000.

I know it does not fit in the top but Lovejoy only has 7 since 2000.

North Hall out of Region 7-AAA has been shut out 7 times since 2000, the last coming against rival Gainesville in 2008. The other 6 shutout losses came back in the 00 and 01 season where the Trojans only won 1 game through those two years. 2002, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 09, 10, 11 and so far 12 have not seen a 0 on the NH board at a games end. My team may not be on the list but I’m sure proud of them.
If this was a list going back just 10 seasons, North Hall would only have 1 shutout.

My apologies. North Hall was only shutout 6 times since 2000, not 7. Per ghsfha dot com.

I had to look at this list twice to make sure that Peach County wasn’t listed. Certainly the Trojans, easily one of elite programs in the state of Georgia over the past 20+ years, would make the list. “There had to be a mistake!” I went to http://www.ghsfha.com, prepared to gather further evidence of the AJC’s North Georgia/Atlanta bias and demanding a correction, but alas, AJC is correct. Peach County is NOT on the list–only those with 3 or fewer shutouts are reported–because they have been shut out FOUR times since 2000. Two of those shutouts occurred in 2007 during a “down” year in which the Trojans were 8-3. Well done, AJC. Well done.
