EAST PAULDING / PAULDING COUNTY score is wrong…
EAST won 42 / 0…(it shows as 52 / 0)…all points were scored in first half, JV played the 2nd half with a running clock to keep the score from getting run up.

Good point!! But in these days, classification doesn’t matter. Competition in GA is strong all across the state. Did you forget the upset Brooks Co. [ AA ] put on Valdosta last week?? Or what about Thomas Co. Central [ AAAA ] almost edging out Colquitt Co. earlier in the season?? Yeah they were lower classification but to get 4 teams to get shut outs in the same night is pretty impressive in my opinion. So how bout I’m calling it shut out central in Region 1-AAAAAA!!

Besides, it wasn’t really the shut outs that Region 1 had, but more of how all did it in the same night. Because one slip up and you can get got!! So they all played great DEFENSE….
This is Lowndes 4th shut out in 6 games dating back to last year when we shut out Tifton [ AAAAAA ] and Stephenson [ AAAAAA ] – with all them D-1 prospects!!
Newton and Windsor Forrest has some athletes now. They held us to 3 points in the first half….
