Forget about it…………………………No coverage again :(

ST PIUS

Thomsons William Bussey looked to be the top defensive back playing in the football game. Bussey was clearly the most physical and athletic DB playing for either Thomson or St. Pius.

I am a Buford fan & grateful to see this coverage (I was at the game, so I really did not NEED to read this)…

BUT to have a link stating AAA roundup & have only 3 games noted is a slam to all other AAA teams in the state..

Come on AJC!!! If you cannot get more than this, DO NOT call it a roundup…

Peace…..

Last week I told the poll makers that Thomson should be number 2 team in state in AAA behind peach let’s see if they put them where they should be . They can go up to Gainesville and beat that team Buford

AJC high school coverage has always been weak…and getting worse. With everyone being mobile enabled, you’d think they could get the job done.

William Bussey is a man for Thomson! I expected to have nightmares about Nick Glass last night, from making all those plays against us. But I dont think I heard his name called once. If Bussey keeps playing like this, more D1 offers will come his way. Hunker down dogs.

Go Dogs.

For the fan who thought Peach County was overrated because of a close win week 1, continue to read the headlines. Winning isn’t new to us…it’s called tradition baby. Go Trojans

Hey All – I have a lil something I want all of us to remember….. Let me start by saying that while we pile on these high school teams (I have never called out a player, only a team & it’s usually bragging & not banging on the other team), these are 15-18 year-old children in which we speak of…

There was a high school jr at Buford participating in basketball conditioning drills that collapsed at the track Thursday, he passed last night.. http://www.bufordhs.org/

There is a cloud over BHS as there was a 30 year-old (30 is still a child to me as I am in my mid 50’s) coach that passed away while playing pick-up basketball at the school last March. His initials are embedden in the RD on the filed when spelling out bufoRD..

So all I will say is to hug on your child/grandchild a few seconds longer, when you tell them you love them, ensure you mean it.. If they are getting into a car, going to the gym, or going for a 2-3 mile run, ………… Might not be able to extend that hug or I love you, again.

Peace…

Great weekend of football all around. Make sure these athletes have recruiting profiles so college coaches can check them out. Web Star Recruits offers a free profile with many other features that will assist in the college recruiting process. Give it a try!

Seriously?! Bussey the best and most athletic DB on the field? What game were you watching? I believe there was a #20 (Nick Ruffin) for Pius that not only played corner, where they never threw his way, but safety at times and oh yeah, tail back and wide receiver. …and returned KO. Had too many monster hits to recall, caused a fumble, picked up blitzs on pass plays. I think be far he was the most athletic DB and one can argue, the most athletic player on the field.
