Coaches with 100 victories in Georgia: Here’s the list

A few of Georgia’s best coaches have achieved milestone victories this season.

Alan Chadwick of Marist became the 11th coach in Georgia to win 300 games in the GHSA. This past week, Rayvan Teague of Carrollton got his 200th win.

Mike Earwood of Our Lady of Mercy stands at 197.

Joining the 100-win club this season are Robby Robinson of Washington-Wilkes in his team’s upset of No. 1 Lincoln County and Bob Christmas of North Hall. Christmas’ 100 wins are in Georgia only. He has more than 100 wins at out-of-state schools.

How do we know these totals? It’s based on research from the Georgia High School Football Historians Association.

The totals are generated from games in the GHSFHA’s database. If you see errors, report them here so they can be fixed.

The Georgia High School Football Historians Association was founded in 2002 by Loren Maxwell with the mission of documenting the history of high school football in the state. The association’s website has scores of games dating to 1894. Most school’s history of scores are complete back to 1948, when the Georgia High School Association put football-playing schools in classifications for the first time and held state championships. Also found on this site are state rankings, all-state players, state champions and much more.

Congrats to coach Christmas. He has done an incredible job at North Hall. He completely remade the program from the facilities to the won/loss record.

Congrats to Robby Robinson. More important than the 100 wins are the lessons he has taught his players over the years. Mainly, how to grow up and be a man.
