Beginning this week, GHSF Daily and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution will project the playoff draw each Friday. Early on, the purpose is provide a look at what regions and teams are looking at good or bad draws. Our projected seeds might be interesting also, but we understand the season is young. So don’t let those projections overshadow the real intent.
We won’t project Class A until we have a better way of predicting the new points system that the GHSA has devised to seed those teams.
Class AAAAAA
The forecast is stormy for the Region 2 winner, projected as Lovejoy. It would face strong Region 1’s runner-up in the second round, then potentially Grayson.
