While it didnt make the list for the all time games….

I remember my brother1990 APS C.L. Harper outscored Druid Hills 70-3 in the first half of the game. Druid HIlls was so mad they got on the bus to leave. But they promised to run the clock the whole 2nd half and put the entire JV in to finish the game. They still scored 2 more touchdowns that were called back.

While it was “only” a 50 point margin and is a ways off this list, Valdosta beat Avondale 62-12 in 1971…in the state championship game. I bet that’s some kind of record.

@huh, I’m guessing you were a part of a team on the losing end of one of these games. Pehaps you are one of those who thinks that because the losing team can’t compete with their competition that the better team should just stop playing. I’m willing to bet that in the above cases the winning team had their 2nd and 3rd string in long before the end of the game. I know this is true in at least one game above. So stop crying and let the kids play.

Is this really worth reporting? I mean, my team is usually the team winning these games, but still, this is pretty classless reporting.

Why not

@Tom of course you shouldn’t report these things, it hurts the losing teams feelings and we can’t have that now can we. That’s just not FAIR!!!!

Lovejoy hung 71 on Morrow in the Dome in the “Great American Classic”. I know it does not measure up but is a blow-out.
