I think by at least 1 of the recruiting services Tyren is a 5-star RB and then high 4-star by others?
Big question for Walton is if McLeod can beat a team if Jones i taken away. His passing has looked kinda shaky tonight. I know Rocky said last year that McLeod was the best QB he had ever seen in person and coming out of Cobb COunty (which, and I ambeing completely unbiased, is crazy talk…ie Eric Zeir/Hutson Mason/etc)

Camden74 – Tyren Jones left cleat marks on Brookwood helmets. If that’s the one dimension, its a good dimension. But, as you know, a good team needs to do something else when what they normally do doesn’t work. Walton’s QB was rated in the top 22 by the AJC, I think, so they probably have another dimension.

@Damden74 – you’re probably right. Peachtree Ridge couldn’t score on Parkview either. So Camden might not have had the opponent in the dome everybody thought you’d were going to have.

@jvillebil – Coffee’s fullback Sears is a sophmore. He averaged 10+ a touch in the second half. Coffee’s offensive line was in better condition than Ware’s D. Todd could have ran through the holes.

Walton’s QB i think is going to Alabama with Jones. He must be pretty good to get an offer from them.
The Mceachern QB is a really good player also, he has a great feel for running that option and pulling the ball back at just the right time.

I think the Walton QB is good, but feel like some people think just because he is going to Bama automatically makes him just an unbelievable player. Definitely a nice player, but not sure he will see the field at Alabama with the other QB coming in with him.
Looks like Jones will have his numbers at the end of the night, but he has taken a couple good hits from Mac.

Is Grayson winning? I hope the Rams beat Miami Central. It would be great to have a Georgia team in position to win a National Championship!
I expect Rivals to bump Northside (Warner Robins) up about 10 places after our beat down of Flowery Branch.

My wife and sat beside some “curious” Tucker fans, who were proudly wearing their Tucker State Championship gear among a visitor section packed full of Northside Eagle fans. They say that there were two things that drove their fine coach (Stephens) from Tucker to Lamar County.
1. Money
2. Control of one’s own program. They said that Stephens had to go through a DeKalb County Athletic Director, because each school goes through a county office. No wonder he left Tucker. That is insane!

ENR, Grayson 35 Miami Central 3. Wasn’t a close game. Central kicked a 51 yard FG or they would have been shut out.

@Camden:
I am in a gray area on the ejection. I understand not being allowed to do that, but that hit was on the line of ok/not ok.
I can understand it more if there was a warning/explanation after the 1st hit. If not, then I have a harder time with the ejection.

No, Camden74. I drove up to watch the game. I live in Midtown Atlanta. Therefore, Flowery Branch was only a 40 minute drive north for me. I have not seen the Grayson game.
If you are speaking about the Rivals poll, that thing can be easily manipulated. If you want to see it, simply tell me what week that I need to push to get a team in. Certain programs (Northside, Camden County, Lowndes County, Valdosta and others can move up really quick).
It is a completely accurate statement to proclaim that this year’s Northside team is SIGNIFICANTLY better than last seasons. Everyone is back. There is significantly more depth. The QB is better for Northside’s spread system. Flowery Branch was rated 8th in the state and got “Peachtree Ridged” at home. Remember, Northside put on a show in a scrimmage against Peach County.
With all due respect Camden74, Northside is better than Camden County right now.

Just saw the replay of graysons 1st td drive. Grayson fumbled for sure the 1st time and the 2nd one may have been fumbled before he was in the end zone. The refs missed at least one maybe both of those calls.

Thanks GwinnettDad. It is nice to see Grayson make an example out of the top ranked team in the USAToday poll. This helps Northside. I want us in the top 40-45 in the Rivals poll next week.

Lowndes varsity came out after 3 qtrs up 50-11 over luella…….lowndes is much better than they were last year on both side of the ball in my opinion….if varsity had stayed in we would have had 64 at least.
Grayson…………word is going around that nkemdiche went down with an injury that did not look very good…….heard on radio could be season ending the way it looked……..dont know…just heard …hope not…i want a shot at them again with him…..
camden county right now is firing on all cylinders………colquitt is not……..lowndes and camden 2 best in this region as of right now……valdosta…yet to play yet…
coffee …may be better but ware is worse than last year so 21-14 not impressive….yet a win is a win

ENR……..Okay, there’s not much I can say until Camden starts Region 1 play. Unfortunately, they have not been tested yet and won’t be until Region 1. Oh, by the way Grayson destroyed Miami Central. I expected them to win but not dominate the way they did! Hats off to Grayson.

They kept stretching his calf and then were stretching it with ice. I saw him up and walking around. By the way, did anyone else notice that the D was as good when he wasn’t playing as they were when he was? Can you say depth? Zack Barnes and Marquis Motley are real!
I was impressed with the win! Now I’m depressed because I discovered we don’t get ESPNU! I wanted to watch it again! Leave no doubt!

The hit on the receiver was questionable… The hit on Jones was how I thought the game was to be played. It was a great hit and a fumble….. what a shame that the kid got ejected
