Last week did Grayson not do much on purpose? The defense looks back in form from last season. This game is like a college game with speed on both sides. That number 6 from Grayson might be the fastest on the field…who is he? Robert the BEAST is back too……now we see why #1 in country.

Running clock to start 2nd half in Lassiter game. Printz has looked very, very good this game. May not have eye-popping stats because of the huge lead, running clock and likely not going to be playing much in the 2nd half.

Northside (Warner Robins) 14, Flowery Branch 7 – 8:55, 3rd.
Northside drives for a quick score. A big change in the offensive formation. No RB in the backfield creates problems for the Falcons. Flowery Branch goes 3 and out and punting from their own 27.

East Paulding leads North Paulding 21-14 at the half. Kamani Thomas with two 70 yard TDs . Miles Hemphill with three touchbacks. (My correspondent is Miles’ dad, and three TB’s is pretty good.) Lot of mistakes by East, I’m told.

FB didn’t look good vs. Lassiter in a scrimmage, but not sure that anybody would’ve. Sounds like the Eagles have found a Qb

Early in the 3rd qtr, Grayson’s Jordan Germany runs 66 yards for a touchdown.

Marist’s Alan Chadwick is closing in on victory #300. Would be the 11th in state history with 300 Georgia wins. (A couple of others have 300 with the majority of their wins in Georgia, but not 300 total in Georgia.)

37-21 Lassiter and Hillgrove recovered an onside kick.
Will have to see it on tv to see what happened, but from what they are showing on tv now in the 3rd Lassiter seems to be playing looser and not with as much intensity as early.

Carrollton 17, Oxford 7 at halftime -
Oxford has -1 yard rushing, 24 passing. Only TD was kick return … Calhoun’s Taylor Lamb only 50 yards passing (3-for-6).
Oxford made the SF in Alabama’s highest class last season, lost to Hoover.
