@ Montanto: Please do not fall into Camden74’s cry for attention. Everyone in this state knows that the AAAAA State Championship goes through one program: Northside (Warner Robins). You would never guess who helped Northside sell out Flowery Branch’s facility (they literally ran out of tickets and had a moment of fear at the ticket office)? I saw about 40 Tucker fans dispersed among the thousands of Northside fans that made the long trip north. It was a merciful 45-7 thrashing. FBHS was rated 4th in the Sports Writers’ Poll. We excused that Kool-Aid. This Northside team, if healthy, may be the best ever. You heard it from me.

Montanto, Camden74, knows that Northside (Warner Robins), with cries from South Georgia that lessons of the sport would be taught to our Eagles, went 17-1 in four years of Region 1 South Georgia football vs. the grossly overhyped South Georgia Region 1 programs. We know that these teams are not that good. However, if Camden County does not run the table then Wildcat fans fear whispers that Northside is the best program in the state.
Personally, I currently give the nod to Camden County over the past decade due to more State Championships. Expect Camden74 to pretend that large school (more than 1500 students) with the most wins in Georgia this century is somehow just OK. We can live with that. Flowery Branch fans had so much hope in their eyes at halftime. There was a MASS EXODUS within 20 minutes as a 7-7 halftime tie became a 28-7 Eagle beatdown in less than a half hour.

@eaglenation i was there and saw the pain Northside brought to the fans and the team of Flowery Branch. As I was leaving I did over hear some Branch fans say that Northsides defense looked like men amongst boys. They were very gracious in their defeat in saying that Northside is one of the best teams they had ever seen. What ever Coach Kinsler said to them at half-time he should bottle it. Great teams and great coaches make the adjustmnets at half and come out an execute.

So your telling me tucker would have beat flowery branch that bad. Get out of here. This is a new northside team with depth and one of the best northside teams ever. They beat the No.4 team in 5A 45 to 7 come on they got to get more credit than what they getting from the so called ajc.

EagleNationRising…..u stand corrected…..while the mighty eagles were in region 1 they lost TWO region games and LOWNDES lost 1……we lost 1 to your mighty 2 time state champion eagles and your mighty eagles lost to my 5 time state champion Lowndes and u lost to a Warner robins……so put that in your pipe and smoke it

ENR and Montanto Great game to watch last night…..This Eagle offense when it’s said and done might surpass the Eagles 99 ,01 ,06 , and 07 squads….Those teams had a number of better super athletes , But this years squad beats them all in depth, so many that can take it to the house…..Glenn Smith, Curtis Martin and Keyshun Hill will be untouchable this year..Look out for young Horatio Drake’s #7 coming out party, He wasn’t even used against FB…. Ive watched them all summer and believe me Alligood didn’t even open up the offense against FB…..Can’t wait until the passing game opens up, we got a glimspe of Glenn’s ability with the long TD pass on the run that was called back.

Northside was in Region 1 in 2008 and 2009, they dominated AAAA ball until they moved up to the big boy league, yes they won some games but not championships, 2007 was their last state championship as was Lowndes …..they won back to back in 06 and 07 and Lowndes won 04,05 and 07……Lowndes ended their streak and northside has never been the same

Watch coffec100 he always says that they beat ware county in 06 a team that beat #2 team in the nation that team being Lowndes , well Lowndes was 6-4 n 06 and the game he’s always referring to is in 05 and yes Lowndes lost to ware but we went on to win state and northside and ware didn’t even play that year…..

Good win for the Raiders last night. Not easy to do when E.P. had to play 11 guys against 17 for most of the game. A lot of bad calls last night but they could not deny the predicted outcome. Next team to walk the plank….Woodland. GO RAIDERS.

Northside Warner Robins has a distinct advantage over the other schools in Houston County. How you ask? ZONING. The Eagles have the luxury of knowing what players are coming through the system. The middle schools prep the players for the system the Eagles run. The city is just not growing in that direction. Rumor has it Robbie Pruitt left Warner Robins because the feeder system was supposed to be resolved and it never was. He made it clear he would leave if feeder system wasn’t addressed. Now with that said I am taking nothing away from the Eagles. The Eagles have an outstanding coaching staff. But, to say it is a level playing field in Houston County is a skewed statement at best.

Proud of my SWD Panthers yesterday. Won 23-0 against a scrappy Pebblebrook team. Now the real season begins b/c it region play from here on out.

The Voice……”District advantage?” You couldn’t be talking funds allocations…..Zoning , more like isolation , only thing left to do is to erect the Berlin wall down Watson Blvd From RAFB to Centreville……Get real kid ,I would love to be there when the Board tells a group a parents who’s kid attend Feagan Mill, Mossy Creek or Hoco that they are being Rezoned because the North side of town has an athletic advantage…… All 3 schools carry 1700 to 1800 students

lol….so funny…..lowndes owns his eagle team…….ask him how they fared in against camden in 09..ask camden who had the better team in 09 us or northside…….aslo northside was made to lool like a girl scout team when they came to the palace in 2008……..

East Paulding vs. North Paulding
Discipline and Organization of Coaching staff was terrible in regards to the previous Coaching staff, and has stemmed down to the players. Program is headed back to the old East Paulding prior to the winning years. Head Coach was disengaged and unaware of several opportunities happening on the field and sideline. There were several instances where the players were confused on the field once a coordinator would call a signal and the head coach would finally become engaged and attempt to change something. COACHING has FAILED the extremely great talent on this team. The win came on the instinct of the players but should have never been this close. Players were unconditioned several had leg cramps. The starting Quarterback (great athelete) played defensive back and was the punt returner, absolutely shows the inexperience of the Head Coach. Quarterback was winded due to playing both ways and went out with leg cramps and Head coach was unaware. Back up quarterback was not ready or briefed by the coach and fumbled the first exchange. Poor coaching led to fans disappointment with this young mans opportunity. Head coach was more concerned with politics with the asst principal and interaction than the game. This never happened under the previous coach due to the understanding of his position and discipline and respect for his program and his responsibility to his players. Head coach needs to gain discipline and organization upon himself, instill the same on his staff and this will in turn be projected by the players. No corrective action taken immediately on mistakes made by the players. TRULY DISAPPOINTED AFTER A VERY ORGANIZED AND DISCIPLINED PREVIOUS 6 YEARS. The Head Coach truly has failed this program and will continue to do so if changes are not made quickly. The Atheletic Director needs to get involved quickly. GREAT WIN PLAYERS!! YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT TO DO, KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!

What is the point of Northside claiming they’d defeat Lowndnes or Camden or Grayson? Talk is so silly sometimes, so cheap, but most of all, such a waste of time. Northside, go to your AAAAA blog and brag and prance all you desire. At least then you might motivate somebody to come wup your behind. It ain’t gonna happen on the field, so there’s really nothing to talk about other than massaging your own ego. That’s totally pointless and a waste of everybody’s time.
