Mustafaa remains committed – to Alpharetta

Alpharetta head coach Jason Dukes set the record straight Thursday on the status of star defensive end Naim Mustafaa, who is committed to Georgia.

It’s common on Internet message boards recently to read that Mustafaa has transferred. Sandy Creek and Stephenson are the destinations most commonly mentioned in the false reports.

“Naim is in my third-period class and he’s tearing it up every day on the practice field,” Dukes told GHSF Daily on Thursday. “Rumors of his transfer are highly exaggerated. I’m glad to clear that up because those rumors have even gotten to college coaches.”

It’s also untrue, Dukes said, that center DeAndre Wise has transferred. Wise, one of several top recruits at Alpharetta, continues to anchor Alpharetta’s offensive line.

It has been a revolving door at Alpharetta this offseason. College prospect linemen Khari-Waithe-Alexander and Justin Haymes transferred to Stephenson. Alpharetta picked up wide receiver Rodney Morris from Wesleyan.

Dukes is a joke. Yes, it IS funny how rumors and false accusations get back to college coaches. He should know because he and his staff have done that very thing! What a hypocrite! AHS should look at what is REALLY going on and clean house.

Well, Fulton’s finest chicken! Another stand-up human being who calls a man out by name but won’t put your OWN name on your post! The man and his staff work hard and try to do the best job they can. Good god, man (or woman), these people have families and football is part of their livelyhood. Do you really think they come to work each day and say, “Gee, I wonder how I can make our program worse today”? Or, “Today, I think I’ll call some plays or defenses that won’t work”. And then there’s the oldy, but goody, “How can I just screw with a kid’s future today”. I think not. Coaches aren’t wired that way, or they wouldn’t be in the business very long. Yet you sit there and pass judgement but you hide behind a fake name. Typical chicken crap! Why don’t you tell me where you work and I’ll come follow you around and tell you and your boss what I think you’re doing wrong. This, despite the fact that I probably have zero experience, and haven’t worked a day in your line of work.

Steve J. I wish you WOULD come follow me. In fact, do come. I welcome you to because you have NO IDEA of what I happen to know! I didn’t just “make crap up.” What may work for YOU may not have worked for OTHERS. Just remember that. No one said that they INTENTIONALLY have had certain “situations” occur, but they surely didn’t try to help fix matters either. So, until you know exactly what’s happened, shut your mouth. I don’t pass judgement based on “nothing”. I base it on fact. Have a nice day, Steve J. and good luck to all of the players there this season.

What? still no name? Just because you’re good at Madden 2011, or you won your fantasy league last year, doesn’t make you an authority on running a football program. Shut my mouth? Is that the best you can come up with?

Hahahaha! Steve J., love you, Man! For the record, you have no idea of WHAT I’ve run before. So be careful. I said it once, but I guess you didn’t “read” it. Have a nice day.

I’ve read everything you’ve said. I’m an educated man, but I see nothing that alludes to anything you’ve “run”. You should be careful, too. You’ve no idea what I know, or don’t know. But the bottom line is, when I criticize someone, I put my name to it. And, in my humble but correct opinion, disgruntled parents/fans/players/whomever else should not be able to criticize and name names in such a public forum unless they have gumption to put their name with it. Or say it to somebody’s face. Just another one of society’s failures. Just like folks who park in handicapped spots without the proper tag, or people who drive slow in the passing lane and won’t move over. You have a nice day, as well.

Fulton’s Finest and Mike B. Typical… You are just like all the rest… sour grapes. A man helps take a program from not having a winning season to the playoffs, region championship and state recognition. He’s building a program in a place where coaches of his complexion aren’t exactly embraced (no African American coaches in North Fulton). And all you can do is HATE, HATE, HATE. You make me sick! You Crab in a Bucket!!!!

Alpharetta got on the map last year because of it’s team of transfers…since we are keeping it realness, the staff was just ok in my opinion. Their schedule was easy…thats why they got drug by Millcreek and we don’t even need to speak on the #1 seed one and done! They played to conservative and Lassiter picked them apart when they needed to. Hooch will drill them this year I promise you!!

Okay Hooch, since you went there, I won’t bring up kids names but the Hooch has had MORE than its fair share of transfers. (More than 12 over the last 3 years). Oh yeah, what about the “funny business” with the enrollement numbers to gain a AAAA classification instead of a AAAAA classification like it should have been. Nice way to get a State Championship. Please don’t get on here with a “hollier than thou” attitude. Just wait…. you wont be talking all of this stuff when you get your *** hammered by Alpharetta.

He got kicked out of the scrimmage tonight at Roswell. It’s understandable since he’s a Georgia commit.

You guys are ” In To Deep “. Just do not forget why we are here. We at Lovejoy are taking them for real. Forget how they got here ? By winning ! When they come to visit us, we will try to be prepared to play football against a formidable opponent. They have a Qb. that had 16 offers and has put that behind him so now he can concertrate on playing ball. Let’s keep it all in perspective and continue to encourage and support them in all their positive pursuits. ( I hope my handle is O.K. )
