Whijtefield held St. Frnacis to nine 2nd half points. they scored only 3 in the 4th quater and that came on a 3 pointer with less than a minute left to play. Their pressure defense is unreal.

st francis is such a dirty team no matter the score. when the score was tied and when they were down by 40 they never veered from dirty play. Whitefield couldnt get a call and still blew them out. from what i saw last night the upset over NCC was very lucky. Sucks NCC only shot 29% or else it would have been a much better game last night. Thats about what St. francis shot last night. Someone had to bring St francis down a notch!

Way to go Irish!! If I had known you were playing a game so close to where I live , then I would have been there. Continued good fortune in the playoffs.

stfrancis=trash i agree. st. francis was a bit on the dirty side and i thought the referees let that game get a little bit out of control for a few minutes in the 2nd half. i didnt see the game but judging from what i saw of NCC last i think st francis was too physical for them.

your right they were too physical. NCC couldnt get the two big kids in foul trouble by taking it to the hole because of terrible no calls. This led to NCC taking way more three’s than normal. on a normal day shooting threes for NCC is not a problem but when they arent falling you cant win a game when you shoot 29% and they shoot 82%. St francis put all their effort in knocking off NCC and they executed it whether I or anyone else likes it. NCC had 2 players that wanted to win (Corey Harris and Dauson WomacK) other than that no one wnated to win bad enough to make it happen. They thought they had the game won and were to focussed on the possible WA NCC game

Decision time for the folks at St. Francis. The undergraduate boys and girls players need to decide where they will play high school basketball NEXT year. Meanwhile, the School adminstration needs to decide where to go shopping for some better players, and more important, how to pay for them. At least they will not be distracted by additional playoff games. I cannot decide if the St. Francis program (girls and boys) is the biggest joke in the State, or simply sad and pathetic.
