Wortham, Person named basketball players of year in 4-AAA

Eric Wortham of Eagle’s Landing and Precious Person of Drew are the Region 4-AAA basketball players of the year as voted by the region’s coaches.

Wortham is a 6-5 junior guard who has led Eagle’s Landing (23-2) to a No. 2 state ranking.

Person is a 6-1 senior guard who has signed with Rutgers and led Drew (21-4) to a No. 7 state ranking.
