Dang when did Palmetto close or become another school? They looked pretty diesel. 7 SF in the 80’s? Did they win state at least once, otherwise call them the Braves.

Creekside is the old Palmetto, Fairburn and Campbell
Westlake is the old Lakeshore and Westwood
Banneker is the old Feldwood, MD Collins and some other school
Tri-Cities is the old Russell, College Park, Headland
Langston Hughes has students from Creekside and Westlake

Thanks for the history, atlspxave.
Palmetto won state titles in 1982 and 1983. Wes Hardin was QB for one of those teams. He’s now offensive coordinator at Whitewater. Also, fwiw, the QB of the 1984 Lakeshore team was Marquis Grissom of ”The team of the 90s has its World Championship!” fame.
The point of the article, if any, is to show that Landmark Christian is making a little history.

Well I’ll be a booger on a baboons behind. AJC Pleazse check the facts again, this can’t correct because the way it is always told makes it seem like Westlake was/is the titleville of the ATL.
