Dacula running back/quarterback Rocky Capobianco, Cedar Grove offensive lineman Brandon Greene and Alpharetta head coach Jason Dukes are the winners of the Touchdown Club of Atlanta’s weekly awards.
Capobianco, the back of the week, rushed for 286 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in a 50-6 victory over Berkmar.
Greene, the lineman of the week, was cited for his work in Cedar Grove’s 39-0 victory over McNair. Greene is committed to Alabama.
Dukes, the coach of the week, has led Alpharetta to its first region title, 6-AAAAA, in the school’s history.
The honorees will be recognized at noon Monday at the Touchdown Club’s weekly meeting at Fox Sports Grill in Atlantic Station. The speaker will be Loran Smith of the University of Georgia. Guests are welcome, and the cost to attend the program is $20.
