No. 4 Carrollton held off a third quarter scare by defeating host Troup on a missed PAT. The Trojans only managed 237 yards of total offense with Telvin Brown rushing for 99 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.
Three players helped the Titans to a victory over Westminster. Running back Jordan Denson scored on the ground, quarterback Spencer McManes also rushed for a score and threw a touchdown strike to tight end Thomas McCormick.
The host Jaguars scored two touchdowns in overtime (including the clincher by fullback Ronnie Hall) to defeat North Springs. Both teams scored in the first overtime but missed their extra point attempts.
Quarterback Chris Moody carried the ball for 114 yards and two touchdowns to lead the host Warhawks past Locust Grove. Henry County’s Jonathon Jean-Bart opened the second half with a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
The host Wildcats prevailed in this low scoring affair. Malcolm Graham got things started for the Cats by scoring a 40-yard interception for a touchdown, and Trey Graham scored the final touchdown on a four-yard run. Whitewater had 350 yards total offense.
Salem defeated the visiting Bulldogs behind Anton Leonard and the running game. Leonard rushed for two 14-yard touchdowns while quarterback Damian Gordon rushed for a 5-yard score. Gordon also tossed an 11-yard touchdown pass to Lorenzo McWilliams.
The visiting Vikings overcame a ten-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat the Bobcats. The Bobcats led 3-0 at half and 10-7 heading into the fourth but could not hold on. First Presbyterian scored 14 unanswered points to end the game.
Wesley Bloodworth and Jackson Noblet both rushed for two touchdowns as host Towns County jumped out to a 33-0 lead before North Cobb Christian managed a fourth-quarter score. Noah Calhoun added a 72-yard touchdown jaunt for the victorious Indians.
Miles Jones rushed for 215 yards and one touchdown—a 75-yarder—as Allatoona remained undefeated and posted its second shutout of the season. Austin Shaw added a 32-yard field goal for the host Buccaneers.
The host Wolves hung on to defeat Creekview by scoring in the game’s final five minutes to take the lead for good. Fullback Jamie Cooper had scores of 39 and 65 yards in the first quarter and scored the eventual winning touchdown on another 39-yard run.
