The Georgia High School Association does not plan on making any “blanket rule changes” with scheduling — at least not yet — due to the postponement of this week’s basketball games because of inclement weather. In past years under similar circumstances, the GHSA has had to allow schools to play as many four games per week.
For now, Ralph Swearngin, executive director of the GHSA, said he will address any school’s predicament “on a case-by-case basis.”
