It’s always fun to post in here and I will also miss the friday nights in “THE BONEYARD” once the season ends…this year’s team is peaking at just the right time and they played all but FLAWLESS football last week at CLARKE CENTRAL.
Paulding County is excited about the RAIDERS making it this far into the playoffs and you can look for a HUGE crowd tomorrow night at STARR’S MILL…We will take over the visitor’s side and create a great advantage for the RAIDER’S by creating a “HOME AWAY FROM HOME” atmosphere!!! With our BELLS & HORNS and LOUD cheering fans the PANTHERS will know EAST PAULDING has come to Fayetteville!!!!
It’s coming STARR’S MILL and it’s coming LARGE!!! UNDEFEATED in REGION 3 is MUCH different than PLAYING in REGION 5…You will get HIT, HIT HARD, & HIT ALL NIGHT!!! This one is going to be a LOT DIFFERENT than playing sub 500 teams!!!
Remember another date STARR’S MILL…December 1st, 2006…that was the 1st time you faced a playoff hungry EAST PAULDING team…and you know how that one ended!!!

Hey Blackguys Tucker has a great team always have had great teams.They should have won about 2 or 3 more State Title so let the teams settle it on the field.

knowing that 1AA is the only region that has dominated this far into the playoffs seems that you may have” DOUBTS” we plan to make “BELIEVERS” out of you guys……I would almost bet that the coaches for the other teams are worried more about region 1AA than “BLOGGERS”!!!!

Good Fan Hes supposed to be fine, he injured his thumb before last weeks game and reinjured it right before the game this week. When I went to the coaches show thats what everyone told me. All of our boys seem to be relaxed and upbeat. One of my fellow bloggers made sure I got to meet the boys and the coaches. Thanks for all your hospitality at the coaches show…you know who you are.
Cane fan right on it smells good here too.

Good Fan there will be at least 4 Lowndes players for the Noles next year. Reid, Demps, Telvin Smith and the newest one will be Hunter.

I do not think anyone can count Hillgrove out. They are very good on offense and their defense can stop anyone in the State. One of their biggest assests is they are balanced on offense. Their offensive line is very good. Theri linebackers are as good as any in the State. It would not surprise me if they won the State Championship. Hillgrove beat my Camden team fair and square. They are a team to be reconed with. Good luck to Hillgrove and the rest of the teams still fighting to play another round.

Thanks Lowndes Fans.I remember back in 1980 we played Lowdnes for State Title & those Vikings ran us from down there.I think the running back was named Greg Jones

Observer, I think 4 from Gwinnett is less than 25% of the schools in the county. In Lowndes and Colquitt it is !00% of the schools from their counties. So what was your point…..that 75 % or 13 schools from Gwinnett have not been elimenated……YET….

GOOD FAN HIS NAME WAS CEDRIC JONES AND HIS #WAS 41 I BELIEVE. HIM, ERIC THOMAS AND STEVE PLAYER WERE ALL PICKED UP BY FSU.ERIC AND CEDRIC BOTH DID A GREAT JOB FOR FSU BUT I THINK STEVE PLAYER AND EXCELLENT RECIEVER QUIT.

@observer, you must not have observed a whole lot lately. collins hill 21-20 over lowndes and colquitt only scoring 20 on mill creek, we can tell you are a n ga guy. i feel lowndes will win , i also feel hillgrove will beat brookwood and that valdosta will win although it wdnt suprise me if grayson finds a way to upset the cats bc of the d they have.

You are right Grayson has no state Titles in Football. Grayson Opened in 2000.
Lowndes 1st 10 years they went
31-66 with no playoff appearances.
Grayson 1st 10 years
79-30 with 6 playoff appearances including 2 quarterfinals and 1 semi finals.

Grayram: Hey you guys beat Lowndes two years ago, I guess it makes you feel better to continue to talk about that game. It must have really been big for you guys….However, if you want to talk about history and what Lowndes did thier first ten years vs Grayson, you need to first know history…The facts are that during the 60’s and 70’s only one team advanced to the playoffs from each region, not four . There was a little known team in the same region with Lowndes by the name of THE VALDOSTA WILCATS, you may have heard of them. They won state in 1965, 1966,1968,1969,1970,1971 and two national titles along the way. No , Lowndes did not beat the wildcats and advance to the playoffs. No team in Georgia could beat them….Now you keeping focusing on Lowndes and your victory two ago……but you know what……..(a little secret for you ) Grayson plays THE VALDOSTA WILDCATS on friday night not Lowndes.

Has anyone else noticed, or is it just me……AAA gets no respect from the entire state of Georgia, everybody is always talking about AAAAA or AA or AAAA… Even the ajc sports writers leave AAA off their intros on many occasions…..Maybe we should all just combine the smaller Classifications, and make all schools in the state AAAAA……Wonder who all the Elite Bloggers would talk about then….WOW….There is more than one class in Georgia, I just wish everybody would give a little to all of then; I like Brookwood, Valdosta, P-Ridge, as much as i like Griffin, or Marist, and I like cook Co, and Wilcox County, just as much as i like Lincoln Co., and Jefferson, and Commerce…….

I didn’t say anything about that game two years ago, but it seems to be on your mind alot.
It wasn’t only Valdosta beating Lowndes back then. They lost 66 games in those seasons.

I think Lowndes is a great team and the Favorite to win it again this year. But some like to knock Grayson because they have no titles yet, not that many win it all in the first few years after a school opens. Peachtree Ridge did it but its rare.

if you look at collins hill and their body of work, they have given up points in bunches to good teams. gace up 45 to brookwood, 24 to roswell, 33 to n gwinnett, 43 to mlk ,34 to mill creek. i wasnt really paying attention to that earlier but i think defense will be their doom against lowndes. they want put up more than 17 to 20 on lowndes and lowndes will score more than that. i wd b shocked if the opposite happens. the teams they have held in check towards the end of year were not that good.

The two best teams the Packers played this year (besides South Panola) were Lowndes and Valdosta. In my opinion, they both have better offenses and defenses than Mill Creek. Lowndes beat us by #10(37-27) and Valdosta beat us by #7 (36-29). Mill Creek may score #21 on us but if our offense “shows-up” we should put at-least #35-40 on their deffense.

For all you fans traveling south to the concrete palace, just a reminder the stadium is a NO umbrella stadium, be sure to bring your raingear. A 50% chance of rain is predicted around game time, hopefully it will rain out before the game starts.

one impressive game for collins hill was the blowout and shutout of norcross. that was impressive. norcross fought brookwood down to the wire last week

@squirrell let me remind you that lowndes beat you by 10 yes, but the game was over!!! it was 37-20 with 30 sec left. Lowndes let you guys score or wasnt playind defense on their toes. I was at game. Lowndes dominated most of that game except for the run yall put together to get back in it. i am not doubting colquitt at all as you guys are pretty darn good and have a good offense but 37-27 was nit idicitive of what the game was actually like.
