White County coach resigns amid domestic violence allegations
White County football coach Gregg Segraves resigned as coach and teacher on Thursday, the Gainesville Times has reported.
Segraves was placed on leave by the school system on Sept. 22 after his wife, a teacher at the high school, filed a restraining order and alleged domestic violence.
White County defensive coordinator Tommy Flowers is the acting head coach.
White County, 4-1 this season, was 27-19 in his five seasons at the north Georgia school. White County plays at North Hall tonight.
