White County football coach Gregg Segraves remains on indefinite leave after his wife was granted a temporary protective order last week, according to the Gainesville Times.
Defensive coordinator Tommy Flowers is expected to be the acting head coach for White County’s game Friday at home against Lumpkin County.
According to Times, Segraves’ wife is a teacher at the high school. She alleges instances of abuse three times last week.
White County is 3-1 overall, its only loss to No. 9 Gainesville. Segraves is 26-19 in five seasons at a school that had only one winning season in the previous 15 years.
