Camden-St. Thomas Aquinas game has national appeal
Camden County’s game against St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday in Fort Lauderdale is probably the game of the week nationwide.
It’s being televised by ESPNU, and both teams are ranked in six national polls.
Aquinas’ rankings are No. 3 (PrepNation), No. 6 (Rivals), No. 12 (ESPN), No. 13 (USA Today, MaxPreps) and No. 38 (CalPreps).
Camden’s rankings are below, along with other Georgia teams in any of seven national rankings. Last week’s ranking for each team is in parentheses.

If Miami Central would’ve had St. Thomas coaches, they would’ve killed Camden too.

GAME OVER LOL.. MAYBE I WAS WRONG ROOTING FOR THEM TO BEAT CENTRAL BUT THEY ARE OUR ARCH RIVALS AND THEY ARE UNDISCIPLINED AND NEVER WENT TO STATE… ST THOMAS IS A DIFFERENT STORY.. THEY WILL SCORE 45+ EASY CAMDEN HAS TO PASS NOW IF THE WANT SCORE TO LOOK RESPECTABLE

But teams don’t throw the ball in GA like teams in Fla do, that’s why Ga DB’s look good. In Fla you will be exposed if you DB’s aren’t good get them help, Ga pride itself on being physical not a balance attack.

Yeah, the defense is really young. I would have expected them to learn a little bit after the Miami Central game though.
Camden will probably keep running the ball until the 4th. If they still are loosing by a bunch they might put Ramsey in at QB and try to pass it but I doubt it. Coach Herron never bothered to put together a 2 minute drill or anything like that.

MID GA, WHATEVER ADJUSTMENTS CAMDEN MAKE ST THOMAS WILL MAKE BETTER ONES.. THEY SHUT DOWN THAT WING T SO GAME IS OVER RUNNING THE BALL PLAYS INTO ST THOMAS HANDS.. DONT BE SHOCKED THEY PUT 50 ON THE BOARD.. SECONDARY IS GARBAGE.. MIAMI NORTHWESTERN WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING TO THAT SECONDARY….

I LIVE IN CAMDEN. THE CAMDEN COUNTY FAITHFUL NEED TO SHUT UP. REAL FOOTBALL DON’T PLAY WING T 4 QUARTERS WHEN YOU’RE DOWN DOUBLE DIGITS. Herron is good in Georgia, but even here in Camden real fans know his wing T sucks. Take a butt whipping because of poor coaching as always and win the state championship so the passy can be put in the Camden babys mouth. Should have stayed playing Charlton and GA schools, now your lol coaching style shows up as always. Herron did a great job in helping the Camden talent get some state championships, but as far as National Title he’ll never get it because he can’t adapt to the game, he expects the game to adapt to him. Take a loss and keep running that pitiful wing T, placing a couple of kids in D2 schools a year. As Shakepeare said, “You’re on stage now.”
