ELCA’s Lauren Teknipp helps U.S. volleyball win silver medal at Youth Olympics
Lauren Teknipp (USA Volleyball)
Eagles Landing Christian Academy’s Lauren Teknipp and the U.S. volleyball team finished with a silver medal in Thursday’s 2010 Youth Olympic Games.
The U.S. lost to Belgium in the championship match, with Teknipp contributing four blocks, three kills and an ace. The 6-foot-2 Teknipp plays with the Atlanta-based A5 club team and has committed to sign a volleyball scholarship with Michigan.
