To all the Stephenson Jaguar Fans, Stephenson appears to be LOADED again this year. I fully expect a state title run especially after that 1 point loss to Colquitt. How are you guys looking?? And were there any changes made to the coaching staff i know you guys have to be VERY HUNGRY for that state title..

You can say what you want about the list of QB’s here, but when you look at the stats and what they did for their team, Rollins at South Gwinnett is the pick. He lead a team that was 3-7 the previous year to a 10-2 overall record, second in Region 8 AAAAA and a second round playoff appearance, He was the QB of the year in Gwinnett County and Stat Leader in a county that has 22 high schools, 18 of which are 5A and the other tops in their regions. He has to be the in this list, he has EARNED it.

Look out for Michael “BIG MIKE” Robinson a rising junior who has been a starter his first two years at center/guard/fullback and defensive tackle from Booker T. Washington High. He is also in the top 15% academically in his class.

Our standards are high in GA. For AJC Super 11, check out “Akil Dan-Fodio” , QB, Redan HS on YouTube or Goggle his name. This kid has the full package for high school and college, at 6′4″, 210, 4.6/40, gpa 3.9. As a sophomore, he set the single game passing record in talent rich Dekalb County by passing for 422 yds, 4 TDs, 0 Int, 15 of 21(71%), 28 yds/compl. He’s a triple threat: strong and accurate arm, great feet with escapability, and smart (Harvard has already offered him, along with 5 other D1 schools). Make us proud AJC, don’t settle for guys who may become good later. See for yourself! For his Jr. season go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB01UAHP_u0

Andre’ Wilson is a must for this list. He has competed with 3 of the QBs on this list and has done just as good or better @ different camps and combine this summer. He has been name the no.5 QB in the nation from the National Underclassmen Combine is this year. He was in a system last year that did not show off his arm at all (Heritage in Conyers). But this year he is at Southwest DeKalb and I am sure you will hear alot from him. This kid can run all offensives well!!!!!!!!!!! AJC your are slippin.

Elbert County has two dynamic atheletes that both run 4.3 40s. One is a senior (Valdon Cooper), who has offers from every college in the country; and the other a sophomore (Tyshaun Dye), who is receiving major looks from UGA. Both of these guys should be on this list.

Have you considered taking a look at Marcus Lambert from Wheeler? His team went 0-20 for the last two years but don’t hold that against him. I hear he is being recruited by some pretty decent programs. He is a really good football player and he apparently did extremely well everywhere he camped at this summer. He is an under the radar type of recruit but not because of his play. Don’t let the W-L fool you. This kid can flat out play.

Stephon Tuitt? This kid has received a lot of hype, but that is IT, it is just hype! What about heart and leadership? Size and ability alone are not enough to make you one of the best. (If you want an example, check out Dexter Morant – that kid had all the talent one could ask for, but no desire to play. I also think he is the same size and talent level)

Stephon is on a Team that has NOT won a game in 2 years. Is one of the best players in the state? Football is a team game, but players make plays that allow their team to win. I guess Stephon has not made those plays in the last 20 games.

Hillgrove Scrimmages Pope HS Next Friday Aug 13. This will Tell you how incredilbe Jabari Hunt-Days. I had a chance to watch one of their practices this week. He was a man among boys, covering the field, technique, he was unstoppable. This was all defense. This was not even to mention his offensive game at TE and FB. I will try and catch Carver and Stephenson, Lassiter and Marietta next week. In my Opinion, Jabari Hunt- Days is a 5-star that has competed against the nations best throughout the country and excelled highter than current 4 and 5 stars.

If Chris Milton is not on the AJC Super 11, it is a shame. Ask the coaches from respected schools like Clinch, Brooks, Dublin and Lovett if he is deserving. Compare his stats to other candidates. Check out his highlight on youtube.

SWD HAS TERANCE SMITH, TORAN DAVIS,ANTHONY ALLEN, GEORGE KENNEDY, ANDRE WILSON, DEONZO FARRIE, CHARLES MOSES, JEROME LEWIS, GABERIAL ECHOLS, JAMES BUSSEY, JUST TO NAME A FEW . THESE ARE SOME OF THE MOST DOMINANT PLAYERS AT THEIR POSITIONS IN THE STATE OF GA WATCH OUT . ALSO THE QB TANDEM OF ANDRE WILSON AND JAHALIL YOUNG WILL LEAD AN OFFENSE LIKE NO ONE HAS SEEN @ SWD BEFORE. ON THE DEFENSIVE END WATCH OUT THIER FRONT FIVE LOOKS LIKE AN NFL TEAM ALREADY WITH A VETERAN LINEBACKER CORPS AND A BALLHAWKING SECONDARY THE PANTHERS DEFENSIVE UNIT WILL BE SOMETHING TO WATCH.

Get a grip! Georgia has as good a crop of talent, year in and year out, as any state in the nation. We all have our favorite ballplayers and want them to be on the Super 11. How about putting their names in a hat and drawing out the first 11. I can assure you that would satisfy almost anyone’s concept of outstanding high school players.

All the Kids this year are very talented. They can put up the numbers we can all agree with that but what happens after that? I think that what they did for there team/school this year is one of the most important factors. I’ve watched a few of these kids live/or on youtube and I think that Swan and Causey are two of the best candidates. Swan has been a start four years and has done an awesome job at Grady High School. However, this was Causey’s first year as a starting QB at Mays High. An they had an outstanding season. Homer Causey is the all around athlete! I’ve watched him play last year basketball/football and both teams made to the playoffs with him in the key positions. And I think he was APS offensive player of the year last year. When was the last time that Mays High School has been this high in the rankings?

Damien Swann- Ath mainly because he is the do it all player line him up anywhere he will score as well as defend. Also has the ability to make his team go at tough times great leader.LETS GO GRADY KNIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Homer Causey- QB mainly because he can play all systems. Tell me if im wrong anybody can line up in Spread/Shotgun in throw for 2 and 3 thousand yards mainly because you are throwing at least 25-30 maybe 35 passes a game.I personally feel the best QB should be the one capable of doing both. Thats coming from under center and also gun.I’ve seen Causey throw TD’s from both under center and gun with one of the best abilities I think is key keeping the play going when things break down. Both ALL-APS Players Damien Swann Overall MVP and Causey I think Offensive MVP
