i’m sorry, but danny crontic has seen his day. I believe the game is way past him, especially if he installs the wing-t he hasnt’ changed it in over 10 years. if his assistant coaching staff isn’t up to par, i see losing seasons for the next 3 years

Congrats to Coach Cronic. I was there to witness Danny Cronic turn a dismal program at LaGrange into a perennial powerhouse during the early 1980’s. He was not only a builder of great teams at LaGrange and East Coweta, but more importantly, a builder of men. Just ask anyone who played for him or coached under him. That quality is sorely missing in today’s game.”Noted Player From The past”, if you played for Coach Cronic, maybe you missed the big picture.

Slalmon:
I also grew up in LaGrange and played for Coach Cronic from 1981-83……I’m not sure how you arrived at the term “dismal” to describe the football program before Coach Cronic’s arrival (perhaps you meant Troup). LaGrange has always been, and always be one of the most respected athletic programs throughout the state of Georgia. I do agree that Coach Cronic will be great for The Heritage School’s football team. As previously stated, along with building football programs, he builds character and integrity in young men.

No i didn’t miss the big picture; after playing in college i realized that while he is a great builder of character. The Game has passed him. I dont argue the fact that he is a very spiritual person, and is an excellent person. I just have to argue the fact that when i graduated in 2006, his coaching was to say the least lacking in the physical department.
