The HAWGS are out!: You are just stating facts. Also, having to travel to the MAC to end the season & THREE trips to Metro Atlanta. I would daresay Probst has brought excitement to Moultrie for the first time since Jim Hughes moved up from Thomasville in 1983.

Well I have got to say that QB from Northside ate us up all night..ENR said no could put up 20 points on their defense well we put up 24..no we didn’t win but ENR your defense can be scored upon…and as we all know so can Newnan’s ..Great Job Northside you came to town and ended our season…No doubt about it…I bet you don’t talk trash this week though since you are playing Camden County..Newnan Great Job this season..but you couldn’t stop that QB Van Brunt from running all over you….I will cheer for Newnan and Newnan only…so you won’t find me on here cheering on Northside or Camden County..it will be a great game..though..

Wow! Our offensive line dominated Newnan. I would have never guessed that. Now we need to do it one more time! Too bad both us and Camden have to travel to that cesspool city to play each other.

Hey(The HAWGS are out), Camden plays even better on the road so I think its a good thing that we didn’t come to Colquitt Co because the score would have been a little worse. The Wildcats played sloppy 2nite,on the road I think they focus allot more. Great game Colquitt,you guys really played well.

Great game NSWR. Hope you take home the gold to make the loss a little easier. Van Brunt just dominated Newnan by himself. First two drives of the second half were just unreal. I think 3 plays of those drives were one pass completed and two Shaq touches and the rest was all him. He played a hell of a game. Thanks to my Newnan boys for a great season. Not bad for a first year coach and no returning offensive starters.

I agree SouthGARules…but Honestly..they can talk trash if they want..Northside really did run all over us…I live in New Mexico and watched it on the WEB…and after Northside scored before the half to take a 20-14 lead it was over..since Newnan had no answer for Van Brunt…and everytime Newnan had a chance to stop them they would commit a stupid facemask penalty…it was great officiating..and great dominance by Northside…We Know they beat us no trickery and no bad calls..But ENR touted all week that no one could put up 20 points on their defense and Newnan did they put up 24…just not at the right time..the Kids of Northside made y’all proud..and should give Camden a good battle..

montanto:I like how you call out the Ogletree boys…I guess them going to Div.1 schools in the fall means they suck huh…They are very good…if not great players…while you sit there at your Mcdonald’s drive thru working for peanuts you can catch them on Highlight reels from ESPN next year..Don’t be so classless as to call out two players who you know you wouldn’t say that crap to their faces…COWARD..

I praised Steve Devoursney on a blog earlier in the week. I admire the way he changed his offense in an effort to get Griffin to the next level. It could have worked but didn’t. That part is no one’s fault.
Now I must question him. The onside kick wasn’t a good decision, neither at the time nor in retrospect. He had a dominant defense but failed tonight to let it carry the team. The resultant TD on the failed onside put the Bears in a hole they couldn’t get out of.
The early Sandy Creek score seemingly sent us into panic mode. We were a run first team but insisted on throwing way too often, playing right into the strength of a very underrated Patriot defense.
Did we get outplayed? Yes, we did. The final score wasn’t indicative of SC’s fine play. They took it to us.
Some teams seem destined to always be the bridesmaid, never the bride. It could be that Griffin is meant to be just the ushers under the current regime. I want to think I’m wrong. I like Devo, he’s a nice guy and cares so much about his players but this isn’t the first time his game has fallen apart deep in the playoffs.

CougarFan We shut down the Ogletree boys and maybe they will be on the highlights reel in college, but I doubt it. Lowndes thought the same thing about Greg Reid and yah he plays for Florida State but have not seen any highlights from him. Only thing we seen is him being stopped quite a lot. I hope better for the Olgetree brothers but I doubt it.

I can’t say enough about Northside’s coaches. They have those kids ready to play every week. Those young men never give up. I’ll be in the dome cheering on my cross-town rivals next week!

Being our last year in AAAAA, Northside needs to redemn themselves against a team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year…..

CCHS 28, Rockdale 0. Boy’s ya’ll forgot this was one of the states best programs from 1977 to 1992 with 7 trips to state and 3 state titles, and 1 nat’l championship! There Back, and there mad!
