I send congratulations out to Sandy Creek’s team, coaches and fans.
We thought we had the best team in AAAA and we were shown otherwise. Questionable coaching decisions hurt us, there’s no other way to say it, but the Creek took advantage just like good teams do.
To the Bear players, I thank you for a fun season. You gave us your best and that’s all anyone can ask of you.

Good game Newnan, but let’s be real, Hype is Hype. You’re a really good team around Atl, but an average team in South GA. Colquit would have slaughtered you all. Raise the state championship banner, Camden 24 – 10 NSWR. Holla at ya boy KATF1SH from the bine as in Woodbine. And I’m not a Jeff Herron fan, but a true fan of the kids

I really like camden and im from lowndes because they are a mirror image of lowndes. Camden are truley chaampions not taking anything away from the pack or the vikes or northside. All i got to say is the Souths gonna do it again

WildcatFan, sounds like it was another good hard fought game. Heading back to the Dome against Northside and it should be another great game between two good teams. I was able to hear the last two drives of the game online and next week I will be able to watch the game online since I can’t be there. GO WILDCATS

You’re not the only 1 traveling. I’ll fly out of Denver Sunday to come home for the game then pipe on out to Chicago. Time to start planning for a good road trip up to the Atl. AJC, you all would do better if you all changed your name to the Florida Times Union. They’re real. But as always give thanks to AJC for the blogs. Another good football season. All teams were good and all fans showed up. There is no Thanksgiving dinner w/o having these blogs. Much Love

How funny is it that Northside could be the state champs but not city champs!!! I do think Camden will beat NHS, but it will be close. Good luck to both!!

Old Moultrie/colquitt County Packer here.
Congrats and kudos to Camden..you deserved the win and I think you will win state. Camden is a plain old fashion SALTY and Tough football team! Extremely well coached and well disciplined!
Tip of the hat and congratulations to my Packers…GREAT season in a year that we were not picked to even make the playoffs from 1-5A!
What I am about to say is not an excuse and it is NOT sour grapes…HOWEVER when my packers get home in the wee hours of the tomorrow morning, they will have traveled over 1600 miles in the past 4 weeks to play 4 football games vs very tough competition! Hardly seems fair!
Coach Probst said yesterday that his team was gassed…worn out…NOW before you respond, coach Probst NEVER makes excuses…it is what it is!
Anyway…Great year of HS football as always in Georgia with some great games next weekend! Good luck to remaining teams!
In the meantime…the Pack WILL be back next year!

Griffin season ended just like their counter parts SWD,on a onside kick.Griffin it looks like yall got bit by the michael carvell jinx to,jus like my SWD panthers.it was a good season by yall bears.but this season ended just like last season for yall bears .so close but yet so far from finals.Griffin just can’t get to the big game in the past 2yrs.
