CougFan: I have covered this repeatedly. Should Northside lose, I will be on this site significantly less. I watch football in my area, or at least the area that I was raised in. I say congratulations to the winning team and move on.
I am a Northside Eagle fan. I do watch our crosstown rival, Warner Robins. Warner Robins has not reached the state playoffs in a couple of years. I watch the Warner Robins and Houston County area schools. I may follow programs like Peach County, Westside-Macon, or Baldwin. However, I am a distant viewer. I am a hometown guy and nothing else matters. Sorry.
Should Northside lose this season in the playoffs, I will not be here as much. Sorry. I am local Warner Robins fan. Now, I can only hope that one of the best high school coaches in the nation gets our young Eagles minds right for the second half.

Gimme a break… If you are a die hard football fan that love football as much as it appears you would be here after your team is gone. I would say there is a little more to it. Maybe… can’t take the heat that will await you after the mighty Northside Eagles (youngest team in HS football in the nation) ok maybe that is a stretch. But when you lose you have to take your medicine, just sucks when it’s a dose of your own.

Lets see…blog about the Union Grove and Peachtree Ridge game (two teams I havent followed all year)…or go do something fun…?
When my team is done, I will have no use for this forum.

Lowndes D is slamming Camden but turnovers have cost the Vikings points. Camden typically slows down in the second half. Let’s see what happens. Vikes have GOT to plug the turnover hole!

Frustrating. Union Grove had less than 35 yards of offense in the first half and find themselves only down by 4 against Northside.

Thanks for the info grounded. But when your defense gives up about 35 yards in a half, you should be up more than 4. Northside offense’s lack of production is keeping that door wide open.

I think people sold Jackson a little short. They’re handling a team that put it to LaGrange. Ware County was the sentimental favorite of a lot of posters. Keep the emotions. Griffin is in total control.

JcwFalcon: I would not place the 10 points for Union Grove on the offense. It was our special teams that gave up a touchdown return on a kickoff for the second straight week. Union Grove can not move the football. The score should be a comfortable 21-3. It is not. We have a young team. They are going to have mental lapses. We are in pretty good shape.
We need to make a stop on this drive and get the ball back. We are beginning to comfortably move the football against this Union Grove defense. We will be OK.

JCWfalcon, can’t say that if Newnan were to lose tonight I would disappear. I wouldn’t be all too happy, nonetheless I would be right here tomorrow, next friday, and the rest of the way. Football is an addiction for some. Maybe not so much to the Johnny come lately bandwagon fan!

Pick on the first play of the game giving UG the ball less than 10 yards from the goalline was pretty bad though. The defense is saving their butts in this one.

Still 10-7 Camden, and Camden is around LHS 39 yard line. Lowndes has had a couple of great chances but Camden’s defense has been tight. Camden just dropped a pass at the back of the Lowndes end zone-announcer had a conniption! Punt, Lowndes takes over on its own 13, a couple minutes left in 3rd quarter. Offensive line needs to start pushing some people around.

UG2010: 21-10 Northside over Union Grove. UG just went for it on 4th down and were unsuccessful. Northside ball at midfield. 9:28 to go in the game.

Newnan 7 MLK 6 headed to the fourth quarter. Newnan drove the length of the field and threw a pick on the 2 yard line. Wow, this is the worst offensive showing all season. If they escape this game it should be an eye opener for the Newnan offense. MLK is decent on both sides of the ball. Newnan is moving the ball on the fairly easily but continue to make mental errors. This is NO shot at ENR but they are young. Not one starter on offense returned. They will have no choice but to sure up the offense. Especially if it is to be Grayson next week.
