Baldwin at Burke County
When, where: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Bear Den, Waynesboro
Records, rankings: Baldwin is 3-2 overall, 1-0 in Region 3-AAA and unranked; Burke County is 4-0, 0-0 and No. 5.
Last meeting: Baldwin won 17-7 in 2008.
Three things to know:
1. Burke is 4-0 for the first time since 1991 and holds its highest state ranking since starting No. 2 in 1998.
2. Burke County quarterback Terrell Brigham has rushed for 556 yards and six touchdowns and passed for 427 yards (completing 40 of 59 passes) and six touchdowns.
3. Baldwin is the defending region champion after its 12-1 finish last year. Its losses this season are to No. 2 Peach County (17-7) and No. 4 Carver of Columbus (28-19).

Buford at Avondale
When, where: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Avondale Stadium, Avondale Estates
Records, rankings: Buford is 3-1 overall, 1-1 in Region 6-AA and No. 4; Avondale is 3-1, 1-0 and unranked.
Last meeting: Buford won 49-7 in 2008.
