Just read this article in the Gwinnett Daily Post! I sure hope that Coach don’t plan on playing this kid if he does it just shows how greedy he is and how that “State Ring” is more important than the injury this kid has. I am getting a flashback from the movie “Johnnie be Good” when Johnnie went looking at all the colleges and he made a stop at the convevient store and the dude working there was a college recruit with a scholarship and he got hurt playing college ball, lost the scholarship and the “Coach” got him the job at the convenient store. I’m just saying……

question: if Walton beats Milton, should they be considered for the top-10?
of course, this depends on what happens ahead of them, but if they’re 6-0 & 5-0 in the Region, they could make a strong case.

also – the same question goes for Lassiter & Roswell. both are heavily favored tonight.
if they all emerge 6-0, I think at least 1 of them has to jump into the rankings.

RaidersAreLosers ……..Did Etowah need a good field goal kicker last week?….Probably not!……Give credit where credit is due…. Ask yourself why? Lowndes ,Valdosta and Carver were forced to attempt field goals in the first place? Its very difficult to score on Northside in the “Red Zone” …..And a 30 yard plus field goal is not a chip shot in the majority of High school football teams Raidersarelosers.

The Woodstock/Harrison game might have broke the top 10, had Harrison won against KMHS! Both teams would have been 4-1 and playing for sole posession of second place in the region. I think a the bye week and some serious soul searching will give the Hoyas a good chance of winning. Home field with all of the “homecoming-hype” may help Harrison as well. Should be a real good game! Come out and watch!!

Yeah…As you can tell from my previous post, last friday at Etowah was not any fun if you were a RAIDER fan…we knew going in that EAST was not as strong this year and several of the remaining Region games were going to be tough. Etowah showed up with fire in their eyes and played hard ALL night!!! They got a well deserved win!!!!

BUT that was then and this is now…HOPEFULLY a lesson was learned and the REAL RAIDERS from EAST that our fans love will show up this week and get back on track against North Cobb…this one is in OUR backyard, in “THE BONEYARD”, the CANNON is loaded…just hoping we get a few chances to hear it fired!!!

ENR says the metro Atlanta team, North Clayton cant compete with a team with tradition like Griffin. Well since you are so good with facts why dont you give everyone on here the score of their game played just last year where this metro Atlanta North Clayton defeated Griffin. Griffin is good no doubt but North Clayton is better than you may realize.

I am not saying the rest of the schedule after this Friday is easy for Grayson as we all know that on any given Friday…but would you rather have a slightly easier schedule or a slightly harder one? Easy rests the team but dulls the edge. Harder keeps you sharp but can wear you down and expose you to injuries. For example, Grayson’s number one receiver went down last week in the first quarter with a torn ACL and MCL. That won’t help as we move toward the end of the season. Thoughts and comments?

I thought you were so well versed on facts but yet you say you dont see a metro Atlanta team like North Clayton beating a team with traditon like Griffin when thats exactly what that metro Atlanta did just last year, they defeated Griffin. Go back and check your facts, I think they “competed” quite well in that victory over Griffin.

But when you got the ECI game and the Winnersville match going on, haha. No region 5 games are touching that this week. Trust me, the Lowndes tickets went on sale to the public yesterday at 9 and they were sold out before they closed the doors yesterday. **Note, if anybody has 2 tickets to that game that they aren’t using…=)** Going to be a great game, can’t believe I’m down here and going to miss it. =/

Tell The Truth: Tick…tick…what? The Raiders have been totally exposed as legends in their own minds. Etowah put the lid on all of the East Paudling hype. Meanwhile, half of the EP posters riding the Lowndes County Viking bandwagon got their wheels knocked off at McConnell-Talbert Stadium as the Northside Eagles exposed the overhype coming out of Valdosta with Lowndes County. When you can not go on the road and beat Grayson, you are certainly not going to go on the road and beat Northside at the MAC.

The silver and black in Dallas and Hiram need to wear pink. There is no boom coming from EP. Etowah dominated EP. Why would the AJC continue to hype this subpar program?

Will someone call the law on Carver-Columbus? Troup, nor any other AAA team is going to compete against Carver-Columbus, who are as talented as any team in the state. Carver-Columbus 28, Troup 0.

Someone needs to let the adminstrators, parents, students, players and coaches know at Martin Luther King HS that they have a real game coming from Newton (Covington) on Friday night. Walton at Milton should be good as region 6 starts to sort itself out. Woodstock should destroy the Hoyas, they got nothing. This will set up a real battle of the losers at East. Look for EP to fold up completely now that they’ve been exposed, losing two at home to N Cobb and Harrison.
