Friday night game of the week—- what about Griffin’s fumble on the one yard line that was caused by ground contact. If you don’t believe me, look at the picture on this web site. That would have tied the ball game early in the 1st and GHS would have been ahead at the half. The block in the back was on a play where the player picked up a first down not a touchdown and considering the numbers North Clayton’s offense put up all night, I feel pretty confident Griffin’s defense would have kept them out of the endzone. Regardless, take away the safety and give north Clayton an extra touchdown and Griffin still wins by 3 so I don’t think the official made the impact. Maybe you should watch again and then look at the stats before you make anymore observations.

Yes, I absolutely do believe Coach Conn would play those boys in a brace. He said it himself! I didn’t say it. He is greedy and he wants that State Title! Mark my words, if those boys can play in a brace then you can bet your redneck butt you will see them in a brace limping on the field to get that Coach the “State Title!

SGH– My question was why would he[Coach Con] play his injury hand…ie.. give the media all injury details prior to the playoffs?. You also stated a particular player was in a state of injury [based on a newspaper atricle] that you do not have first hand knowledge of. Grayson has a downhill road to the playoffs no matter how you slice it. It can be beneficial as tune-ups and reps for backup players and time for healing starters…3 weeks is a long time in that mode, hence, why give the media or anybody else ANY SIGNIFICANT INFO when you have that luxury. Many players play in a brace. My oldest son played 4 yrs HS in a brace and just graduated from college with 4 yrs as an O’lineman in a brace..It had nothing to do with the coach. Those decisions are made between the player, doctors and the parents..A coach bears little significance in decisions regarding you son’s ultimate future. The same currently applies to my son who is a senior starter in HS football. And trust me , Coach Conn would NEVER force that issue. I have first hand knowledge.

Oh good God B4uknewit. Are you really that stupid. Do you think I make this stuff up? Go read it for yourself the Gwinnett Daily Post. I just post what I read. Obviously your son didn’t have a serious injury (thank God) I’m just stating what I am reading love. If you are a Grayson parent that would explain everything!!
