you are going on record well hot dam somebody better call a press conference. Union Grove thinks they are going to win 2AAAAA. Remember you heard it here first you will start just like you did last year 6-0 and end the season 8-2 with losses to the jags and the lions.

I like yah Pops, You can truely talk soe good football. Got some good points there. We can say all we want about the match ups and starplayers and weaknesses but you know as well as me and WF that its just going to be another epic game for control of TLP. Can’t wait to get back to see me some good ole ball.
Cannon/EP people. If yah do come to the game tomorrow I’d say sit on the home sides because you’ll see that the away stands are extreamly small and will be overflowing with people from Woodstock.
HomeFieldAdvantage. Thank you. Glad to see that O’B still has some respect down here. His defence is one of the reason’s we’ve truely done so well as of late. He’s also got a great Defencive cordinator in Coach Buddy who is just amazing. I played in the middle school team back when and they start teaching the defence to yah then so by the time your an upperclassmen you know it back and forth. Heck, I know it and i stop playing after 8th grade. haha. VSU is just being inconsistant. I’ve traded my marching uniform in for the flame head down here so I know the team a little and they’re got the potential. The game against Southern Arkansas proved that. Its alot of just if they push themself enough at the begining of the game and dont come out there exspecting to be handed the victory. But back to high school..haha. I’m pretty proud to say i’m going to the 2 best rivally games in GA which happen to be week after week. So where should i get tickets for the Winnersville match? I’d rather not get stuck behind the middle schoolers like i was for your first home game this year. haha.

Hey Wolverine Fan, what did you expect, a ticker tape parade? We take a lot of pride of our “BONEYARD”. What you see is what a few dad’s do for free. The field preperations, volunteers; the pregame festivities, volunteers, we love our Raiders. Don’t know what you expecting last year. I’m sure you were elated that we lost to McEachern. They are a very good football team. We were warned about their receivers and that’s what beat us. I don’t think we should have lost. We had fumbles that could have turned the game around but they beat us. That happens in high school football games. You fumble, you just may lose. I like to think we are a better team than that but that’s what happens.
I’ve seen Wolverine stadium. Wow, cookie cutter to say the least. I’m not even THE CANNON RULES but if this annoys you…TICK TICK TICK BOOM. It’s gonna suck when we beat you at the what? Wolverine Den? Is that the name of your cookie cutter?

Glad to see some EP fans on here defending the Raider honor. Yes EP may not have the nicest place in the state but hey guess what. A boneyard isn’t suppose to look nice now is it. I don’t see how Marietta is better than last year, but we will see Friday night. I’m gonna say those boys from the city get hit in the mouth and they go into hiding and don’t come out for anymore. As for woodstock and Etowah. I was at the Etowah/McEachern game this year. Etowah just looked smaller than last year and they aren’t as fast as last year. We will see if that Split Back Veer ever gets to running right. Woodstock yes you beat us at home last year, you do have bragging rights. As far as harrison goes, all ya have to do to beat them is put 9 guys in the box and make em sling it, they can’t, don’t see how they got past a fast south cobb team. But hey thats why they play the games. TICK TICK TICK BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EP guys – The wolverine guys are right. If you want to see the game Etowah’s side works best, just not enough room on the visitor’s side, and they will bring fans like it is a home game. However seating will be at a premium. A good spot along the fence up top usually works, but may get two or three deep. The student fans may be a little lighter with school on break this week. We shall see?
You guys seem to like us better anyway, not sure why, you will see what you get to look forward to after we thump Woodstock.

Hey Bone Yard dad//////Sorry if I hit a nerve. I remember some of the EP bloggers last year making statements that the Bone yard was the Caddilac of High School stadiums. I just did not see it. You are correct in saying that the Wolverine Den (or the Rock as some people call it) is a cookie cutter. I am sorry you feel that you should not have lost to McEarchern, I am sure if you had 2 more quarters to play you would have probably won. When you visit the Rock get ready to hear HAIL TO THE VICTORS until ya can’t stand it.

To Bear Backer, Dekalb county will expose you for the fraud that you are again this year. You barely beat SWD on your home field with their leading rusher out for the season and soon as you played Tucker who was at full strength, well your high powered offense sputtered embarassingly I must say. You would not beat any of the big 3 in region 6AAAA this year Marist,Tucker or SWD so enjoy beating up the teams on your regular season schedule because if you meet someone from region 6AAAA in the playoffs the party will be over.

there can always be back and forth on who has the better stadium, but few high school football teams have a better entrance than Woodstock’s woodshed. i just wish they’d load it up and drop it down on that pretty new field turf at EHS.

GAMEDAY BABY GAME DAY!!! I’m pumped incase anybody was going to ask me. haha. I’m going to one class at 9 and then headed to the deck, get my car and i’m going back to the Wood. Tonight’s game going to be epic. Good Luck to all. Even Etowah. Lets hope our boys keep it classy.

Just wanted to CORRECT a previous post I made late yesterday…A WSB TV report said all Paulding County games were cancelled because of schools being closed but I just called the school (8:50 Friday morning) and was told the game IS ON for tonight at EAST PAULDING against Marietta…
Etowah Fan…Guess I’ll have to wait to see your place NEXT week…Good luck tonight with the battle for TLP…

Most of you guys will be at the games tonight so record the Newnan and Creekside game . Alec Ogletree is the hardest hitting safety I’ve ever seen. He may not get much action because the defensive line and linebackers are so fast and not much get by them. Creekside are no stiffs but Newnan is so good it may seem that way.

Woodland Of Stockbridge is going to win tonight against rutland were going to go to 4-1 with our only loss being aginst lowndes county and there the best tem practially in the state so plus woodlnd got paid 10k to beat worth county a 5a school!!!!!! GO WOLFPACK!!!!!!!

I’ve been to Griffin and half of your city’s population are either in a gang or missing teeth. If anyone lacks education it is YOU GUYS. Your head coach doesn’t even speak proper ENGLISH. He speaks with somewhat of a REDNECK dialect. Projects are everywhere. SWD is almost as wealthy as Tucker and Dunwoody areas in Dekalb. Please believe you can get the whoop stick come playoff time. The only good thing to do in Griffin is play the lottery!!!

Due to the fact that Bear Backer requests that I state my views in proper english, I will honor his request. Statistically at the beginnig of the season the experts rated us #1 in region AAAA. We lost our first contest against a AAAAA team in MLK 13-9 . MLK is AAAAA so to say that we have not honored our top ranking is inaccurate. We are 3-0 in region play and are not at full strength we have a QB who has yet to return. I will not get into the fact that we have Ken Malcolm , T.J Stripling, Jonathan Mincy,Sharrod Golightly,and Marcques Dixon who is proving to be one of the best athletes in Dekalb County. So Griffin we ready when yall want it come this winter whether its on our field your field or in the dome.

It’s way too early in the season to pick the order that the teams will finish in Region 5AAAAA but don’t count Harrison out. As for our non conference loss to Peachtree Ridge, I doubt any team in this region would have walked away with a win against them.

Griffin will probably get beat again this year in the playoffs, especially If history is any indicator. I am pulling for them anyway. I know SWD is a good school and has many fine athletes. I do not take it lightly when someone bashes our Bears or Griffin, especially when it is vitriol spewed like “Region 6AAAA” garbage. : I will not give you your due thanks to your racist comments. So what …we don’t have a Black coach…what difference does that make? You sir (or m’aam) are wrong for that. Plain and simple. I will put my degree and intellect up against your sophomoric attempts ANY TIME. And feel free to look up the big words you don’t understand. Or get someone who knows how to do it.
And finally to: Southwest Dekalb Still Best in AAAA : I also commend you on at least being civil about my intentions to get you guys riled up. I will be the first to apologize if my meager attempt to stir things up a tad hurt your feelings. We don’t want that now do we? All in FUN people….good grief. At any rate…Good luck to SWD this weekend (if you guys don’t have a bye). I will also admit that SWD is overall probably the better team this year, regardless of record to this point. Griffin is indeed in a weak region, but hey….we play EACH AND EVERY game HARD, and WE WIN A LOT. Do not begrudge the Kids for where they were born and raised. As much as a hate to say it. Union Grove best chance is to go 9-1. No way we can beat both Stephenson and MLK. I believe Stephenson is the class of our region and our only hope is to catch MLK on an off night after they realize they can’t win the region after they get smoked by Stephenson.

Candler Willis: I hate to disappoint you but Worth County is not a 5A school, they are a wretched 3A school. However, you are right about beating Rutland tonight.
Brookwood Mom: The next 2 weeks should be easy pickings playing Berkmar & Meadowcreek. Did you have any problems with the flooding?
All the smack talk is good, I enjoy it, but if things go wrong for your team, don’t join the Witness Protection Program. BTW, hope everyone made it thru the floods this past week.
Region 6AAAA: Did you grow up in the Birmingham area or did you go to Samford on scholarship? Curiosity compels me to ask because you don’t run into a Samford alum every day. I know they have a kid on the football team from P’tree Ridge.
