Before we get to the rankings, which didn’t change a bunch this week, let’s give some credit to those unbeaten teams that aren’t ranked.
In fact, it might be fun if I went out on a line and ranked them:
Class AAAAA: Roswell, Lassiter, Collins Hill, Walton, Creekside, Union Grove
Class AAAA: Hiram, Dutchtown, Lakeside-Evans, Hardaway
Class AAA: Jackson, Grady, Monroe, Mary Persons, Elbert County, Jackson County
Class AA: Blessed Trinity, Swainsboro, Appling County, Chattooga, East Jackson, Benedictine, North Oconee, Berrien
Class A: Greenville, Marion County, Mount Paran
To the real rankings, we jumped McEachern a spot for its fourth straight victory over a 2008 playoff team in AAAAA. Should Peachtree Ridge and Camden County hold on to Top 10 rankings when a half-dozen unbeaten teams are unranked?
Apalachee and Marist joined AAAA in place of Clarke Central and Mount Zion. Will someone bravely post this week that we were right not to rank Mays last week?
In AAA, WaCo jumped a spot for blowing out what we thought was a very good Troup team. No change in AA.
In Class A, if anyone would like to take a stab at it, be our guest. After Wilkinson County lost to Savannah Country Day, you might as well draw names from a hat after Wesleyan and Savannah Country Day to rank them 3-10.

camden shouldnt be ranked. its about who you play and if you lose, then your loss should still be counted against you. they lost to hoover.. wow! if they didnt have a t.v. show on mtv no one would know them. The point is that if you wanna play a good team in non region you better be ready for it to count against you.
North Gwinnett beat the top 10 in the nation Prattville alabama, but all these south ga people think ptr is the best team around. these south ga folk and harrison fans just rave about ptree ridge so it makes their own team look better ha. they arent even the best team in their town.

Yes, camden is good but they have two losses. They shouldnt be on the rankings until later in the season. They will go probably undefeated and be ranked high once again.but at this point in the season their record isnt promising. I think they should be one of those honorable mentions at this point in the season. one of these 4-0 teams deserves to be ranked ahead at this point because they have won everygame so far. A rival suwanee school is still undefeated (collins hill) so at this point they should be ranked ahead of camden. schools still in the top ten will lose so camden will be ranked eventually. they have a good coach and should be a factor in the playoffs.
I myselfam a North Gwinnett fan, a team that people just forget about when talking about 7AAAAA. Everyone assumes ptr is the best. while they are good they havent beat anyone. NG has made qtr, finals, qtrs the past three years but it seems that some (not all) south ga teams only recognize grayson and ptr as teams worthy.

Decatur 4 Life…you guys have an up and coming running back in the middle school right now who is bad to the bone. I will be following him throughout his high school career and hope to hear nothing but good things on the Friday night highlight reels.

I hope so, we need it because our specialty players need a little help. Under first year coach they’re still searching for an identity. The new spread offense they’re learning hasn’t gone well and they have gone back to the wing T which they ran for 7 or 8 years with their retired coach. If this kid is at our middle school let’s just hope he makes it here before somebody takes a stab at him.

We didn’t play this weekend, it was an open week. We play Towers High this friday and hopefully we can get it together. Good win against Groves, can’t say that it was a surprise though. Ah, the weekly pie of Region 3AAAAA.

Greetings Decatur 4 Life,
You got to love this Georgia Football. I don’t believe there no where in the US that love Football more than Georgia. You can tell by the blogs. People will argue Texas, but I still think we ran number 1 pertaining to this.

Bull Dawg Bite,
Good Football program. But they wont get past Peachtree Ridge. North Gwinette will go to the post season but will be one and done after it is all said.

Decatur 4 Life,
Region 3-AAAAA maybe weak, but what does that have to do with Bradwell Institute, and Camden County? Okay, Region 3-AAAA is weak. But Bradwell Institute and Camden County have proven themselves to enter the post season and beat your North Georgia team.
2008,
Bradwell Institute number 2 seed from weak Region 3-AAAAA Beats Region 4-AAAAA North Georgia East Coweta.
2008
Camden County number 1 seed from weak Region 3-AAAAA beat North Georgia Stockbridge, beat Peachtree Ridge, and was crowned the undisputed Class AAAAA State Champions.
That is what Weak Region 3-AAAAA brought to the table.
2009,
Bradwell Institute is number 1 in Region 3-AAAAA.
Camden County is number 2 in Region 3-AAAAA

well sportsfan i hope you are wrong.
according to your theory we will lose at home to peachtree ridge. i think it will be a good game decided by defense… but i feel our passing offense will be tough to beat.
for arguements sake we can hypothetically pretend peachtree ridge wins. we then would have to play the #3 seed from region 6. and then mceachern. who undoubtedly is a great team but im not sure if they are the real deal? they barely beat woodstock…and if we win the peachtree ridge game we would play the #2 seed from region five who probably isnt all that strong.

BulldawgBite,
Well lets see, 7-AAAAA Collins Hill is Number one in your Region correct? If so, then lets just say, Collins Hill finish number 1 followed by Peachtree Ridge, and North Gwinette. If North Gwinette plays any team out Region Region 6-AAAAA in the 1st round, then North Gwinette will win. But if they begin the first round in Region 5, I fore see problems. I’m not sure about McEachern. McEachern. I could be wrong. Whats your assessment?

well we are tied with ptree ridge and collins hill in region play because we are all undefeated in region. although ptree ridge has lost already. North Gwinnett does not get to play collins hill because we have a 10 team region. but they will probably lose to ptree ridge. I agree on the region six part with you. no team out of there has the athleticism. Mceachern could be good could be bad. they are playing a down region 5 :/ all we can do is take care of our business. i dont know the procedure if collins hill and north gwinnett were to beat ptree ridge and tie for region champs even though we havent played. do you?

I think we finish 1st or second. the ptree ridge game is the only one that matters. I hope we finish first so we have a chance and homefield in the quarters. Not gonna lie. i hope Northside pulls a rabbit out of their butt this next week

go ahead, take us completely off YOUR tongue-licked pencil lead pushed list. The more you say we (Camden) do not belong the more right you are: and the more a** we shut out and up. We belong on a list of teams who do not talk about themselves outside the arena or through old wannabees who can only blow smoke……..talk on the field not in AJC
