He is my neighbor. right now he has 17 differnet schollarships. He is really good I am he little sisters(ryan vaughters) best freind. I have known the Vaughters for 10 years and I am 11. Oh, and James says HI PEOPLE! COME TO MY GAMES ON FRIDAYS AT THE TUCKER STADIUM AT 6! James is really nice and he will be on TV playing for some team (there thinking ohio state). James is so cool and sweet to me. thats ryan now. She has another brother jonothan 2. SO love james and wish him luck for the team!

Yep, it is HILARIOUS reading the comments of the mutts on this thread. And to think I spent 7 months in Augusta way back in 2005 while going to an army school, but the church I attended had a Gator pastor trying to sway the poor souls of the misguided Jawja folk.

It’ll be hard to sway a kid away from the dark, evil side of the farce, especially when RIcht lays it on think about how they go to church too; but in the end, hopefully he’ll want to play for a real football school that WINS championships and doesn’t whimper and whine about moving games from my hometown of Jville and hasn’t even competed for a NC in nearly THIRTY (30) YEARS!!!

Even the Zookster won 2 outta 3 times (and almost won a third time with his worse UF squads against one of Jawja’s best squads in years!)

James, I am so proud of you. I’ve watched you grow over the years and your commitment not only to sports but most importantly to your academics is highly commendable. Keep up the good work, stay focused, don’t get caught up in the hype, and please, please don’t listen to these idiots who think they know you. Be true to yourself. Oh, I forgot to give credit to Urban Meyers wife Shelly. Ive seen the interaction, she is like a mother to a lot of those players and there is very much a family atmosphere. If you ever get the chance, read a little bit on Chris Rainey and his life. I think that both Meyer and Richt are good men who have the best interest of their players at heart. So for many recruits it comes down to academics and support, athletic program and training, facilities, location, relationships and comfort level, fan support and fervor and campus life. Florida offers ALL of that and more!

Hey Jon– Tell us how many of those 7 national chamionship seasons Bama lost it’s bowl game in…and then compare that to how many they were Co-national champions for. And also, how many of those 85,000 “loyal” Tide supporters went to the Sugarbowl last year? Pathetic. I used to respect Bama’s program till I actually checked all these facts.

As far as Meyer goes – He has the highest graduation rate in the SEC and has won uncontested NC’s 2 of the past 3 years. Looks to me like he’s taking boys and making them into men… doesn’t matter what team you cheer for..gotta respect that even if we don’t like it.

Urban Meyer isnt even a christian he is a Catholic. Mr. Vaughters it would really be nice to see you sign with the university of Georgia like all the other greats from Tucker High who have been bulldogs in the past. Unlike Florida, Georgia really needs you at linebacker and probably other positions you would get more playing time at Georgia because we will have alot of linebakers leaving soon and goin to the NFL. Florida just wants you to steal recruits from our state like they try every year.

Its interesting to read everyones comments regarding their favorite schools, you guys are great. James continues to do a wonderful job in school and is maintaining his humble demeanor. His parents continue to give James an opportunity to see the options available and not rush into a program that does not offer the best mix of athletics and academics. It would be wonderful if society focused more energy on scholarship and less on sports. James continue to be an inspiration to your cousins and friends. Good luck on your Junior year.

Nobody in the South can compete with Bama’s tradition. Possibly Notre Dame nationally. You place Nick Saban leading that storied program and it’s the best one-two punch in recruiting. Herbstreit mentioned Georgia had 30k for the Black-Day event. Look for Bama fans to show why they are the most passionate in college football. When ESPN shows up this Saturday, expect 85,000 loyal Tide supporters. When Saban realized Bama’s A-Day event fell on Easter weekend, he quickly changed dates so it wouldn’t inconvienence folks celebrationg Easter.

Ask Tim Tebow, who is one of the greatest college players in history and could go down as THE best, about Meyer. Do you think THAT guy might have a little character to him??? Ask Brandon Spikes, who bypassed millions of $$$ to come back to play for Meyer his senior season. Ask the parents of the Pouncey twins about Meyer. Ask Dallas Baker, who was a total screw-up both athletically and academically when Meyer got there…and now has a degree and is playing in the NFL. Ask Chris Leak, one of the finest most upstanding individuals you will meet, about Meyer. Ask Jarvis Moss, who was saddled for two years with a hidden medical issue that almost made him quit football until Meyer got to Florida and insisted that the doctors look into it. Found the problem and he became a star at DE (you know what that is, don’t you Georgia?), a national champion and a first round NFL pick! In another words, for every one BAD example, I can give you 10 GOOD ones!!!…And by the way, get the REAL facts about SAT and graduation rates…not from these UGA/Gator haters with an agenda!

Meyer is a great teacher / leader / person. So is Richt.

Notice how the bugs are insanely jealous of the recruiting process. “It’s not right to offer at such a young age”, which is translated to, “we’ll never get him, so I hope nobody else does either”.

Regarding the negative comments concerning CUM, he is an upstanding person and obviously a great coach. Please don’t attack the man personally for situations that are out of his control. Not a damned one of you out there knows what really goes on in the recruiting process and is then spun and broadcast for all to misinterpret. The fact is I’m jealous of the success of UF, but I’m thrilled with Richt and his upstanding character. Meyer is interested in character????????? Made me laugh out loud. Virtually every school in the SEC puts football prowess above academics and character (Vandy excepted). But that comment is sooooo absurd, there is no program in the SEC that sells out its integrity for football more than Florida does under Meyer. Not even UGa stoops as low as UF does.

I find myself hoping for UF to fail in football simply because it is hard to root for the school that has the LOWEST average SAT scores of any school in the FBS division of Div I…the lowest ..in the nation. It’s AVERAGE SAT scores could not get admitted to most ACC schools, imagine what some of their lower scores are. Kinda like Percy Harvin getting the lowest score of all seniors tested on the Wunderlich. Disgusting, and disgusting that they are not up front about it.

Id like for any rival poster on here to name one kid that has transferred fron UGA football out of disgust and hate. Since CMR has been there…not ONE! YOu get the truth here.
