Spurrier crowed alot at UF and was able to back it up with superior instate fla. recruiting.Ol’big mouth has only managed to be average at best when the talent pool playing field is level.

georgia should be ashamed, having all the athletes they have and getting the crap beat out of them by florida, alabama, ga tech etc . they are rated preseason no 1 and end up out of the top 10 with top 10 recruiting classes every year. a crock. hey, they have lost to tennessee 2 out of the last 3 years.

Connor you obviously know that there are lots of people that make some really dumb comments on message boards. South Carolina is rising and will be a major player in the SEC for many years to come, whether UGA and UT fans like it ot not. This past year has strengthened SOS’ resolve and he has made the necessary changes to get fresh blood on his coaching staff. The facilities are really on the rise and talent continues to flow in.

Let the naysayers say what they will, but South Carolina will have the final word!

spurrier is 1-3 vs each of clemson, uga and u/f and 2-2 vs u/t while at usc

but 4 of the 6 losses to uga and clemtech were decided in the last minute of the game and could have gone either way

not a moral victory but the writing is on the wall: usc is more competitive under spurrier than they’ve ever been and gaining ground on the faltering “powers” of the sec

florida will take a step back w/out harvin this year and will really be simply above avg. when tebow ascends to the heavens after 09

Sounds like WVU would probably be the best fit for this kid. They run version of the spread w/more passing. With Pat White gone, he may even have a chance to play as a freshman.

If you knew the kid like i did you would know that he is a big time competitor and loves to prove ppl wrong! He sees an oppurtunity where he might be able to change things around. And for GT fans, Connor is a spread QB not a triple-option QB. His highschool runs the triple but it is out of the shotgun. Connor is a smart kid, he knows what he is doing and knows that coaches will tell him anything to get him interested but it seems like to me, he is taking in his recruiting process and if he likes USC then hope all for the best!

The kid (understandably) ask Spurrier the wrong question. He should have asked what the chances were of the old coach getting fired in the next 2 years. Spurrier simply cannot leave QBs alone and he just cannot develop QBs. From what I know of Ga. Tech., they might be good for the kid as long as he doesn’t want to pass the ball. Why would he want to compete with his brother at GT anyway?

one never knows for sure what the ole ball coach will do,but i can understand why the young man might be interested, since georgia is loaded at qb and tech plays that weird offense.

Connor, remember the antics of Spurrier last year. He is not allowed to go to Tucker High School or Spartanburg (SC) High School. He has proved that his word is no good. Also do you want to play at a school that has all new assistant coaches? It does make you wonder why they all left Spurrier. Do you suppose that he has made remarks to them in private about how long he will be at Looserville? How many assistants have left UGA? Read between the lines…Spurrier WILL NOT BE AT USUCK AFTER THIS YEARS 6 AND 6 RECORD. Remember Spurrier’s famous remark after his QB threw an interception; “It was not your fault. It was my fault. I thought that you could make that pass.”
