Earlier today, Shane McIntosh, executive chef and owner of Ocean Catering Company, debuted his first dine-in spot, Ocean Market, in a space across from Emory University Hospital Midtown.
The new Parisian-inspired concept will be open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays- Fridays offering “reasonably priced lunch fare available for dine-in or takeout.”
Downtown/Midtown workers and neighbors can look for salads, soups, deli and panini-style sandwiches and crepes, with plenty of vegetarian-friendly options.
Menu highlights include the Kinda BLT with sliced pancetta, roasted garlic aioli, lettuce and tomato, the double-stacked Smoked Salmon Club with house-smoked salmon, turkey bacon, and citrus marmalade, and the Dirty South Bread Salad with mixed greens, heirloom tomatoes, steamed crab and seared crawfish tails tossed in basil pistou.
Drinks include Pellegrino sparkling lemonades, craft root beers, ginger beer and bottled white teas. For dessert, there are selections of cupcakes and mini cakes.
