So, I’ve got a question:
What are the great restaurant menu items that define Atlanta today? What are the dishes that pull you into a restaurant? The ones you can’t not order?
Okay, I guess that’s three questions. When I moved to Atlanta in the late 1990s, the city favorites were the fried lobster tail at Pano’s & Paul’s and the Maytag blue cheese chips at Buckhead Diner. Then it became the crab fritter at Bacchanalia and the peanut butter banana pie at Rathbun’s. We moved on to the burger at Holeman & Finch and the San Gennaro pizza at Antico Pizza Napoletana.
What do we have today? I have a few ideas, but I want to hear yours.
