We know there’s still a few more weeks left in 2013, but we’re just so excited about all the dining events going on in Atlanta, we had to share them with you now. Plus, reservations go fast. Book the babysitter and get ready to pop bottles and tickle your tastebuds with these happenings on New Year’s Eve. Call the restaurants or go online for reservations.

1. King + Duke, 3060 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta 30305

This place has been getting a lot of buzz, due to its trendy vibe (like the 24 foot open hearth) and the fire-kissed cuisine. The four-course prix fixe dinner is $70 per person and will give you one more dinner to remember this year. Complimentary champagne is passed around at midnight.

2. The Mill Kitchen & Bar, 590 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, 30075

Want to be closer to the ball drop but far from the city? The Mill Kitchen & Bar creates their own midnight balloon drop complete with champagne and a showering of “Mill dollars,” discounts and freebies. The party starts at 10:30 p.m. with live music.

3. Gunshow, 924 Garrett St Suite C. Atlanta, 30316

If you eat with your eyes, you’ll want to check out Gunshow. The special ticketed dinner has early seating times from 6:30 until 9:15 p.m. and it promises to be as much a show as an elaborate dinner serving eight dishes and two sweets. Tickets are non-refundable and $200 per person.

4. Park 75 at Four Seasons, 75 Fourteenth St NE, Atlanta, 30309

Chef Robert Gerstenecker is known for creating a seasonal “garden-to-table” menu, including items that he grows on the Four Seasons’ terrace. Take advantage of the last fresh crop in 2013 with Park 75’s three-course prix fixe dinner for $70. The champagne toast and DJ keep things going through the New Year.

5. Ri Ra Irish Pub, 1080 Peachtree St NE #1, Atlanta 30309

If you want to start toasting early, Ri Ra is celebrating the Irish New Year at 7 p.m. with complimentary Black Velvet champagne. The benefit of getting there early is you skip the $10 cover, which begins at 9 p.m.

6. Smoke Ring, 309 Nelson St SW, Atlanta 30313

When champagne is overrated, toast to the New Year with moonshine. That’s what Smoke Ring is offering in addition to live music by Sweet Auburn String Band.

7. UMI, 3050 Peachtree Rd NW, Atlanta 30305
You’ve heard the buzz. For an upscale, swanky dinner, the “UMI-kase” celebration is an exclusive eight-course offering. The price is $175 per person and includes a bottle of wine or champagne. Make this the last date of 2013.

8. Three Sheets, 6017 Sandy Springs Circle, Atlanta 30328

Three Sheets has three words: premium open bar. General admission is $65 or VIP tables with private bottle service are $80 per person. Grey Goose is sponsoring so expect a DJ, champagne toast and party favors.

9. Social Vinings, 3621 Vinings Slope Dr Suite 4110, Atlanta 30339

For no cover or prix fixe menus, Social Vinings is offering a few special entrees like Whole Main Lobster and New York Strip on their a la carte menu. Then the bar turns into a party with live entertainment and of course, a champagne toast at midnight.
