Sweetwater Sundays and more Father’s Day beer tours

SweetFirst SundayJust in time for Fathers Day, Sweetwater Brewing Co. has added Sundays to its tour and tasting lineup.

The Atlanta brewery now hosts public tours five days a week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tours on Sundays run  2:30 – 4:30 p.m.

195 Ottley Drive NE, Atlanta, www.sweetwaterbrew.com.

If you thinking of taking your Dad out for some Father’s Day weekend beer adventures, there are several other breweries around Atlanta with Saturday and Sunday hours, too.

Monday Night opens its tasting room in Atlanta 2-4 p.m. Saturdays:  mondaynightbrewing.com.

Red Brick opens its tasting room in Atlanta at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays: www.redbrickbrewing.com.

Red Hare opens its tasting room in Marietta 2-4 p.m. Saturdays: www.redharebrewing.com.

And, of course, local brewpubs, like 5 Seasons, Max Lager’s, Twain’s and the Wrecking Bar, make great Father’s Day food and drink destinations.
