Tickets on sale for Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival

image001If you like to plan ahead and save a few dollars, tickets are now on sale for JCT Kitchen’s annual Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival.

1400 tickets will be sold to this July event where chefs, mixologists and local farmers come together to create a variety of tomato-inspired tastes and sips.

The Spazmatics and local chef band Five Bone Rack will once again hit the stage to provide the entertainment for the festival-goers.

Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite drinks and dishes. Last year, both the judges and attendees crowned Donald Sargent of Morelli’s Ice Cream top tomato. Paul Calvert of Pura Vida was recognized by the judges for his cocktail while attendees chose the one crafted by Miles Macquarrie of Leon’s Full Service.

Event proceeds will benefit Georgia Organics.

1-5 p.m. July 21 at JCT Kitchen & Bar (1198 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta). Purchase tickets online. Advance (by June 30) $55, $50 for Georgia Organics members. $70 beginning July 1.
