Champ Kind, the lovable and creepy sportscaster from the Channel 4 News Team, is testing the waters of his fried chicken franchise with a 2-day pop up restaurant on Marietta Blvd, and had their grand opening yesterday. The somewhat original concept, Whammy Chicken!, is only open for the rest of today, so if you have not had the chance to try some of the fried chicken that Kind likely had nothing to do with making, you’d better hurry!

Ok, so not really. What you are seeing here isn’t an incredible example of cross-marketing, but actually the Olympic Flame Restaurant in West Midtown. The crew of Anchorman 2 has taken over the diner as a filming location. Filming at “Whammy” supposedly wraps today
