Confirmed: Justin’s Restaurant closed
Earlier this week we reported that Sean “Diddy” Combs’ restaurant, Justin’s, was rumored to close today. The restaurant’s general manager, Solomon Fornie, denied the closure was permanent, instead indicating that the restaurant would undergo renovations for a short period before reopening.
Today, we received word from a spokesperson for Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group (BBWEG), founded by Combs, confirming rumors that the 14-year-old restaurant will not reopen.
According to the statement, BBWEG closed Justin’s Restaurant in order to pursue “other business ventures in music, television, fashion, fragrance and spirits.” The company, however, says it is “actively exploring business opportunities in Atlanta” and promises “to have a strong presence in the region.”

I liked Justins enough but it was something about it that i knew it would not last! I love Ditty and I know he is on to new things. I hate this for Atlanta though. I love our Celebrity owned spots!

Where will the weekend shootings and gang beatings take place, now? The police can now get a break, too, since they won’t have to swarm the parking lot.
Good riddance to this place, it was a blight on the neighborhood every weekend.

@ Edward – Can we all strive for a day with no negative comments that are not directly correlated with the actual “business”? Criticize the food, the management or what have you but let’s not turn this into a thug centered post. Not saying the restaurant hasn’t attracted its share of hooligans but so have other establishments. Happy Saturday everyone!

I went there in the begninning and the food was good and the service was pretty good too. But for the menu items offered the prices were outrageous. That’s why people quit going.Just because you’re Puff Daddy doesn’t mean people will be pay $25 for your meatloaf.
