Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint

Located in the former Macy’s building on Peachtree Street, Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint recently opened its doors. With a wooden dance floor and stage for live music, it offers what it calls an “eatertainment” experience. Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint serves Southern fare including house-made pimento cheese, black-eyed pea hummus and crispy crawfish tails. In addition to the classics, the bar features moonshine-based cocktails.

Open Market at the Cumming Harvest

The Cumming Harvest, an online source for purchasing local organic produce is hosting a traditional farmer’s market with their growers on Saturday, March 19. While customers typically pre-order foods to pick up, at the Open Market, shoppers may browse farmer’s stands and make purchases. This event, which is open to the public, will also feature live bluegrass music.

Legends Deli and Cafe

This month, Alpharetta welcomes Legends Deli and Cafe. Legends will serve breakfast, lunch and an early dinner using all fresh ingredients. Soups, salads, sauces and dressings are all made in-house. Find breakfast sandwiches such as the pork roll egg-and-cheese, deli sandwiches made with Boar’s Head brand meats, and freshly-ground Angus burgers.
