This is a fruit-bearing pomegranate tree growing next to the patio. What a delight! Does anyone know the story behind this tree?

Is Empire State South open yet? I see their menu is now posted on their website but haven’t heard anything about them opening. Are they officially doing business now? If so, I’m headed there tomorrow night.

Easy, that’s the Ryan’s Steak House in Hiram!
No better food in Atlanta. Does Rathbun’s have an Ice Cream Bar? I don’t think so!

How pretty — I’m going to embarrass myself and admit that I’ve never even seen a pomegranate tree before. I didn’t know they grew in GA.

@ Food Fan – I walked by Empire State South on Monday afternoon and no, it is not open yet, although much progress is being made on the interior, and the place was buzzing with activity. (This from just peeking in through the windows on the 10th street side.)
