Those 10 tips were clearly written by an amateur. Like Daddy always says; those who can’t do it, teach it. No good grillsman is taking a thermometer to his grill. One time my uncle Brian came over and Daddy had made a ton of his world famous BBQ. Well Brian wanted to contribute so he decided to do some burgers and hot dogs on Daddy’s grill. He pulled out a thermometer to check the burgers and let me tell you what. Daddy grabbed that thing and threw it probably 80 yards into the field. Needless to say Daddy’s nickname since then has been John Elway.

…and then he married my sister!
Ah, redneck cooking. Ya gotta love it. Just don’t eat it.

You call this a blog post? It’s lazy work by the ajc’s “star” food writer. And the link isn’t even good culinary advice, it’s an advertisement for more kitchen and grlll gadgets. This isn’t honest-to-goodness food writing, it’s food-industry chatter. You just wasted my time.

Sorry you feel that way, Nonsense. I’m not into the thermometer, but I thought a lot of the tips were worth sharing with readers.
