The atmosphere in Tomo's current location provided for a very unique and accommodating dinner. It will be hard to emulate that with a larger space, and most likely, a less personal experience. Long live Tomo! Wherever it may be.

Cool. Have to try Tomo. How about a review on say your top 10 sushi places in Atlanta? (or however many if less than ten that you find palatable)

i remember years ago John, when MF Midtown first opened. You wrote your first article about them, how finally a real sushi place in Atlanta!!! I still love MF and it's still my favorite til this day. Somethings are hit and miss just like any restaurant. But it's hands down the best!!!

Tomo is good. I'm not a huge fan of the sweet sauces. But quality of the nigiri and sashimi is good when I'm in the vinings area. Not sure how they're going to do with Buckhead crowd. It's a totally different ball game.

Since the first article, sushi restaurants seems to be growing like kudzu. It seems every restaurant serves sushi - Strip, Shout, Room, Ra, Steel,Kroger/Publix, etc. I feel it's so over done and over played!!!

I'm ready for some originality!!!

Vinings has supported you for years, I should know, I live in the Condos down the street and have visited many times. Shame on you for wanting to move, especially to the Ritz residences blaaa, no character just snob.
