We are listening to your feedback!

For those ajcexchange users that have sent us comments via Get Satisfaction, thank you. We want you to know that each and every comment is read and considered, and often, someone will personally respond to your feedback. Here are some reader suggestions and our progress on implementing your ideas:
- Garage sale maps: This was a popular request, and garage sale maps are now on each listing posted on ajcexchange. We are working on fixing some minor issues, but please continue to send us your feedback if you see a map that is not pointing to the right location.
- The expiration of listings: Garage sales have been such a popular category that the listings were becoming cumbersome to search. So now garage sale listings will expire a day after the user specifies, and we may refine this depending upon user feedback and performance issues. Thanks to all who made this suggestion.
- Repeated listings: We are working on ways to reduce duplicate listings and will remove repeated listings. Please keep us informed if you see such listings, and we will be happy to investigate.
- Scams: Unfortunately, this is a major issue for online classified sites and we are dedicated to making your ajcexchange experience safe and secure. Visit our safety center for tips on shopping safely online, and please report any suspicious listings to us.
So keep the feedback coming, we are listening and want to make your ajcexchange experience a pleasant and successful one.

It would be great to have a hit count of how many people looked at a particular ad. Thanks.

The AJC Exchange site is INCREDIBLY slow and inefficient. With only 10 items per page, and having to click on EACH item to read the description (and it takes 10-15 seconds to go to the description), plotting garage sales each week is torture!
I also use Craigslist and the Marietta Daily Journal, which are super-efficient and fast. They each have loads of items on EACH page, and when I click on an item, it goes to the description in a couple of seconds. The AJC should take a look at these two other sites and figure out why they’re so fast and the AJC is so slow and cumbersome.
When I’m running behind time on garage sale mornings, I just omit looking at the AJC ads altogether — it’s much too frustrating!

I have been trying all day to list an Ad. I have forgotten my old password. I have requested a new one but to no avail. This makes it very difficult to use if I can not get on in the first place.

Your car search engine is horrible. Actually, it doesn’t even exist. Why? I would like to look up a particular make and model of used car but there is no way to do it on your site. That is very odd. Basically, your car site is useless. Check out autotrader.com for ideas on how to run a real used car sales site.

pet exchange has many scam artist with listings that are purposely deceiving and ask for money up front to ship puppies. They say they are listing animals in Georgia but really coming in from other countries like Africa. Ads should be screened prior to placement.

Please contact me at this email address to let me know how to log in. It says email address is incorrect and there is not a number to call for help.

Been trying for 5 days to activate my account….made calls to ajc online number and they resend the email which I never get. Now it’s the weekend and they are not in….I check my spam folder also and it is not in there either. Need to rent my rental house, husband is not working and if it doesn’t rent it will go into foreclosure. This is very frustrating
