Cynthia,

Again and again we say that Islam is a religion of peace. Really? I see a religion permitting female genital mutilation, Capital punishment for adultery, No rights for women citizens, Censorship or worse for those that question religious dogma, and a brutal doctrine that is set against the backdrop of war and a theocracy. Muhammad was a soldier and governing ruler, Jesus was not.

Like it or not Christians and Jews are considered the descendants of Apes and Pigs because of an influential 9th century Islamic writer. While the rest of the world is trying to solve problems with economies and health care reform there world is busying loping off hands and funding Hamas. Jumping to conclusions is one thing but completely ignoring the facts at hand is another.

Why not ask Salman Rushdie at Emory how peaceful Islam really is?

Hate to say this but...you're wrong. I lived in the Middle East. My father did business with Egyptians, Saudis, Iraquis, Iranians, all of the ME countries. He dealt with Kings, Princes, Sultans, Presidents down to used car dealers ( Ford) and he told me one day (over drinks) that the people of the Middle East were wonderful people with only one flaw...Religion. Muslims (Islam) was the reason that they have fought and killed each other and anyone and everyone who didn't adhere to the Koran and the Muslim faith. This sadly, is the truth and this is why we and they will NEVER be on peaceful terms with each other. We are infidels and they are Muslims who must wipe the face of the earth of all infidels. Stop buying their oils and they will go back to killing themselves and tribal lifestyle. Sorry...but it's true.

We judge the world by what we see, hear and learn. When radicals commit terrible crimes and acts of terrorism and NO ONE speaks against the crime, are we learning all the truth?

On one hand I see many Muslims committing acts of violence. From the DC shooter to the Ft.Hood shooter. I read about a cleric that calls the Ft. Hood shooter and "Officer and a gentleman".

The AJC never prints stories about local "good" Muslims or clerics that embrace their religion.

The media only shows the ugly side is Islam.

Of course, the media does all it can to trash any religion or faith.

The media has no morals or ethics, except that God fearing people are either ignorant or crazy.

Hey, AJC - Thanks for nothing.

The cool calculator with no conscience occupying the White House spews similar tripe, but he has an agenda and will say whatever it takes to achieve it. On the other hand, Ms. Tucker, you apparently believe the nonsense you write. Which is the bigger threat to our country, the one with the agenda, or the fool helping him to further it?

Two Points:

#1 Headline: "Attorney General Eric Holder will deliver a keynote speech at a gathering that includes an Islamic group linked to a Muslim terrorist organization." It doesn't get much worse than that. When I was a federal law enforcement officer is was against regulations to associate with known criminals.

#2 If Obama (as he said today) really can't understand why the Ft. Hood terrorist did what he did, then he has no chance of understanding what's really going on in the Islamic world .... and he is our president ?

O nonsense.
First Hasan did not have any trauma from war. He never fought. I have a lot of sympathy for people who fight and deal with consequences. Not much for this twit, who took our money for his training and his provison but then developed a crisis when faced with actual deployment. This man is a selfish, weak coward. Don't give him the honor of a soldier.
Second, if generalizing from Hassan is a bad idea, don't do it. We can't make him typical of all Muslims. Don't make him typical of people who fight in wars.
Tucker is really mailing it in these days.
