Ok, I want a totally public insurance system, covers every single US citizen, no opt out whatsoever and one charge for everyone, same charge for everyone, copay to never be more than 25$. Foreign citizens here for a short term pay when they come in, unless they are coming in for the purpose of treatment, pay their fees for six months on entry, pay again every six months or get deported. You come in for treatment, you pay cash or deal with an insurance company from where ever you are from. Doctors that don't want to do business that way are totally free to pack up and move to another country, same as if they want to dispense Laetrile.

Now you pubs, you wanted to know WHO wanted a public insurance system? ME, that's who, the guy who has voted against you in every election for 40 years now. So stuff a sock in it.

Conservatives want to have the power to have multiple incompatible things be true at the same time in their frenzy to slather Obama with their hate. Is he an atheist Marxist who is a secret Muslim who attends a radical black church? All at once. He is a fascist socialist communist and part of the secret Masonic cabal. All at once. He is the omnipotent wuss. He is robbing taxpayers by trying to reduce their health care costs. By saving jobs and companies with government loans he is destroying the economy. By negotiating with people he disagrees with instead of bombing them immediately he is surrendering us. By not endorsing our extremist vices and enacting them into law he is aiding extremists.
It's a madness Lewis Carroll would enjoy.

Obviously most of you are getting all of
what you may think of as news from the Fox channel.Fox is not news. Obama has
reached out to those on the right as far
as I'm concerned to much.

The questions were written in a way that made the person think that government healthcare was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Wow, you take spin to a new level.

Lets look at the wording of that question again:

8. Would you support or oppose having the government create a new health insurance plan to compete with private health insurance plans? Do you feel that way strongly or somewhat?

The government will create a new plan. It will compete with other plans. How do you feel about that? I see no bias in that question

Kamchak, Apparently, the moderator wasn't happy with my response and took it down. I don't know why. There was nothing wrong with it, nothing vulgar, and no namecalling. I guess they just couldn't handle the truth. I will make this one much briefer.
1. I don't listen to Rush or Newt for my thoughts. In fact, I can't stand them myself.
2. Everybody learns in stats that you should always question a polls source. Who is funding it and what/how were the questions asked. It is an WashingtonPost/Abc News poll. ABC news kicked off the entire healthcare reform push in the White House. Who would you think they are going to ensure the data looks favorably for? The questions were written in a way that made the person think that government healthcare was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I guarantee I can create a poll where a majority of Americans would agree that smoking is the most healthy habit in the world and that parents should get their kids to try it. There was a video where I guy runs around an all-womens college and find that most of the students polled agreed that women's suffrage should be abolished. All I am saying is you cannot trust the data.
3. You failed to address the other questions. So....the poll says a majority want a public option, something Obama is driving. A majority also say that they do not trust Obama to make decisions that are right for the country. I can interpret that to say that a majority of American think that Obama, by pushing a public option, is going to take this country down the wrong direction because most people don't think he makes decisions that are best for the country. See how twisted these polls are???? I have 2 polls that say something contrary to the one you posted and I know they are skewed too. But....2 out of 3 skewed polls point towards my thoughts on a public option so I must be correct in saying that the majority of Americans do not want a public option.

Look at the percentage of those polled that are Rep versus those that are Dem.

Yeah Gingrich as much as said that too.More from media matters on the polling sample

ABC News polling director: Poll is "in accord with most other recent good-quality surveys measuring political partisanship." Responding to Gingrich's attack on the poll, ABC News polling director Gary Langer wrote:

To examine Gingrich's concern, consider the partisan self-identification reported in other recent publicly released polls rated as airworthy by ABC News standards. They range from 18 to 27 percent Republican, averaging 21 percent -- almost precisely the same as our estimate.

Another place to look is at our own ABC/Post polls this year, to see if our 20 percent estimate is an outlier. Not: Per the table below, it's almost identical to the 21 percent Republican self-identification in our last poll, and very near the 23 percent average we've seen across our polls this year:

    [...]

Nor is this out of pattern with the long-term trend in political partisanship in this country.

This is, however not the first time Gingrich has accused polls as being false. Maybe you were too young to remember the former speaker in his heyday.

Not new for Gingrich to attack poll results he doesn't like as "deliberately rigged." According to The New York Times, in 1995, when Gingrich was speaker of the House, he responded to a CBS News/New York Times poll finding that respondents disapproved of Republican plans for tax and Medicare cuts by saying, " 'This poll is a disgraceful example of disinformation. ... What we get are deliberately rigged questions that are totally phony that come out the morning of the vote' on the House's tax and spending bill." [The New York Times, 10/27/95]

Last, why don’t you cite a poll that isn’t as severely slanted towards the Democrat party?

I used that poll because it was the most recent--as you are repeating the most recent anti talking points. Right on cue, and just as media matters is reporting what your pundits are saying.

Numerous conservative media figures have attacked a recently released ABC News/Washington Post poll that found that 57 percent of respondents supported "having the government create a new health insurance plan to compete with private health insurance plans," with Fox News contributor Newt Gingrich reportedly claiming that "this poll was deliberately rigged and produced a result that's fundamentally false" and that "It's a typical Washington Post effort to slant the world in favor of liberal Democrats" and Rush Limbaugh calling the poll "totally fraudulent."

To Samuel, Oct 21st, 11:50 - what does being overweight have to do with political views? Did you serve in the military during Vietnam? Did you serve in Southeast Asia? Are you old enough to have voted for or against Nixon? Were you out of diapers during Watergate? Did you live the history you reference or perhaps your views are from that liberal education.

Obama is a radical with complete ties to some of the most radical organizations on earth. No, they don't bomb, or at least not anymore. However, if they get their way via Obama the USA will become part of a new world order and our Constitution will be thrown away one piece at a time.

As to Obama being weak, it appears he took lessons from Jimmy Carter. Oh, were your around for Carter's wonderful administration? He was and continues to be a complete embarrassment.
